How long from order to ship date?

My order went in on 1/3/14. A week later I get an email from dodge that it's scheduled for production. Nothing from them or on the VOTS last week. Now this afternoon I get an email from the salesman that Chrysler has scheduled it to ship on 1/23/14. I realize from reading on this forum that the VOTS is mostly useless as it's not updated but it seemed that the average from order to ship was around 40-50 days. This is literally 20 days. Not complaining but it seems a little "too fast"

Come On Rebates

Probably going to take delivery third week of Feb so I'm hoping for increased rebates on the 4th as well. Think Durango sales have been strong though - so I'm not too confident at this point.

Incentives increased to $1750 customer cash or $750 plus 0% financing (36 months)...
I believe this current offer is good until 3/4/14

Looks like Texas stayed at $1000 too. I was hoping for an incentive bump to twist my arm to get a '14 Citadel. Guess that decision didn't get any easier.

So I spoke to my dealer today, my D is sitting in NJ at the loading docks of the railway. They said it should get to the dealership late next week. I did ask why it would take a week to get from NJ to NY & all he said was it was a union thing but he red flagged (whatever that is) the car for priority.

It would have been nice to have it to play in all these snow storms, but I did have a blast on the quad today!
