Did this one afternoon when I was out for a leisurely drive but ran out of road. One day........Sorry but the standard R/T should not go over 118MPH, it's not safe.

Ain't that always the way it is? I'd love to run the Ammo Can at the Texas Mile but the expense is more than I want to pay. But I would sure like to know what it will really do.I pulled 152MPH in my SRT10 Ram. Talk about a fun ride. I so miss that Hotrod, should never have sold it.
I think for me the price would probably run a little north of $1000. Registration for one car, driver and one "crew member" is $600.00. They require a helmet and race gloves and that would run another 300.00 or so. There would be gas for what would amount to an 850 mile round trip and then at least one and possibly two nights lodging and meals. But I would still love to do it. Just can't justify the price right now.I would jump on the chance unless it was > $1k.
I'd pay up to 1000 bucks to make a a couple of runs on a closed course with a Hellcat.
