2019 Durango GT Plus- . 2 problems:
Has less than 300 miles on it. Makes a high pitched fan like noise. Seems to be coming from under the right side of the steering wheel. Sometimes it goes off after a few minutes, other this doesn't go off. When it does go off it has a "winding down" sound and the sound only varies when you shift gears.

Second problem is that I have an amber start/stop light with an exclamation point always visible. The message center says start/stop unavailable and turning it off and on does not make a difference and no light show on the control whether it is on or off.

Purchased it a long way from home and will be taking it to a more local dealer tomorrow.

Any ideas at least on the noise? (The warning light is pretty self explanatory)

The only time it varies is when you shift from park to either reverse or drive...and then it only varies slightly. The times it goes away it seems to wind down. It is almost like a pump or fan sound but high pitched

Went in to dealer. The problem with the start/stop was a defective battery in the start/stop module. They put in a new battery and is now working. The noise they say is a sensor that detects humidity and is on all 2019s. Still not convinced on that but they said that if it continues to run all the time to bring it back and they will put in a new sensor.
