I was browsing a few photographs of recently delivered Hemi Orange Durango's, and noticed that the third row seat was leather, instead of suede like the first two rows. Possibly the dealer mixed in a photograph from another vehicle, as this seems like a rather odd build. The Dodge website shows suede on all three rows, which makes sense, but I haven't seen enough photographs to determine if that is the actual build. Has anyone else run across this issue?

Definitely doesn't look like hemi orange 3rd row, the stitching is red. While hemi orange is orange 🍊

What's odd is that the second row seating DOES appear to have the orange stitching. It's possible the factory effed it up... stranger things have happened.

So definetly some mess up on that one to have red stitching/leather seat on 3rd row

 

I wonder if this is one of the infamous "ship it out and we'll fix it at the dealer" mistakes you read about from time to time?

 

Probably.... I'm still waiting on my dash panel inserts to be corrected on my TnG from July... Supposed to be Red like my interior but they came black.
Only right side has recently came in, still waiting on side left of steering wheel.

I could see if a 392 emblem was no longer going to be used for 22MY otherwise I am pretty sure it is a UAW thing.

Bad news, my insurance agency is closed... so will have to wait till monday for all the paperwork..then schedule transport

 

some states allow a 10 day insurance grace period under your current insurance..

 

So they actually need it for registering the vehicle with dmv.. idk how this process works

Typically, if you just show proof of current insurance, that will be sufficient. Even if you don't finance, the dealer will probably still want to see your proof of insurance. I just carry one of those little insurance cards in my wallet, which has always been sufficient for the dealer to verify everything is up to date.

 

I can see the dealer not wanting to release a vehicle with no insurance on it. Probably worried about a lawsuit.

 

Each state may be different. When I bought mine over the summer, just had to show I was currently insured. Didn't call insurance until the next day to let them know I purchased the DD.

 

I know the Allstate app will let you add a vehicle right there, on the spot using your phone.

Oh.. tax was $5500... so truly only got 4500 off the total price

There is one for sale at Astorg Dodge in Parkersburg, WV. It is pretty basic and they are asking MSRP. Don't know if you could get the rebates to sweeten the deal or not?

Transport carrier is delaying my vehicle delivery because Transport broker hasn't paid off their previous transport invoices... Isn't this considered freight hostage?

Oh man, I'm so sorry to hear that. I've never dealed with a broker (now I guess I know why), but assuming you paid your end of the deal, it seems like you're owed a vehicle. Hope it gets worked out soon!

(My '23 just finished production and is due to be shipped any day now.)
