Lets get this rolling. There seems to be an interest on starting a new order. We'll need 15 before we can get Mike to make a new run. The exact Details will follow once I contact him and finish the setup, but the first thing I need is 15 commitments.

I have these on my 5.9 from the last group buy. They're great. I had no install issues on mine. Fit was good and I installed them myself. I only needed to have a local shop weld the collector on for me after it was all installed.

This will be set up as the last one was. I'll supply your name and address to Mike and you'll pay him directly. No money will be made by me and I won't handle any of it. you'll make all of your arrangements for delivery and payments through Mike (or Pam) so it keeps everything on the even. I'll just facilitate it for you all. It worked out fine last time. As soon as we get close to the number, I'll let them know we're close so they can plan and when we get the required 15 orders, we can kick it off. I'll try and get other Forums involved so we can hit the number faster and maybe get even more and work out a price advantage if that's the case. No promises on that.

I'll send off an Email to them now and get prices and other details and post them later when I get it but for now we need to show Mike we have the orders or it doesn't matter.

Start the list below. Add your name and let's get this moving along. check about 6 links down to the last GB so you can all see the questions and answers to pre-empt any questions you might have.

Personally I think we're all better off dealing with The Fastman I just trust he'll do right by us.

I have a quick question. Where exactly are the pre-cats located :wall: and what do they look like. I squeezed under my truck and couldn't find them are the located in a position in which you can spot them or are the farther up the y-pipe :?. All I could find/see was what looked to be a shield. I'm sure that this question might be one that was answered but, I'm learning as I go. By the way this is on a 01 R/T.
Thanks in advance. :)

Pre Cats

Not everyone has pre cats, so if all you see is pipe, and shielding, you don't.
If you don't, then count yourself as lucky. :)

They'd be located after the manifold and be part of the Y.

Got it today. Is the flower shop yours?

I believe the deposit totals go to PPH on Monday. Skitoz.d is working on the collective info and will be contacting you individually IF there are any questions for each specific setup. Once he's done and that info goes to PPH, Pam and I (Pam is with PPH) will get your monies all transfered over.

Sounds like we're a go for tomorrow with the money. I already sent the list over to them and will confirm all of the information I have received since compiling the list. I've updated with phone numbers that I've received and we should be ready to go. they're already making the headers so we should be about 4 weeks from delivery by now and then you all will be contacted by Pam from PPH for final payments and deliver confimations.

this is COOL!

Thanks INDY.

headers

What information if any is needed from D owners, and who do we give it to?

Anything sent to me, I forward to skitzo.d (Paypal info which had addresses, phone numbers, etc) and the emails that I received also. Skitzo.d is/has compiled the list of all that info (a big list, trust me) and sent/is sending it off to Pam at PPH. Skitoz.d will let me know when to send over all the funds (probably still ater today).

What's in the list? your D/Dak specifics so your headers will fit (different years and makes have slightly different characteristics? hence these are Custom Manufactured to order only) and at least your phone number so Pam can call you when your specific set is ready. Without at least that info, nothing would get done. The list probably also includes your provided address.

Hope that helps.

the last of the PM's went out. once I get the information back, the list will go out to Pam @ PPH and I'll post their email address and contact information.

Either Indy or I will post as soon as the deposit is sent to them.

Thanks for hanging in there.

I just had a question about the coating the headers are getting. The question being; do we know who's doing the coating? The reason I ask is, while perhaps in hindsight I could have asked earlier but (maybe even exercising some foresight now?) I know I at least wanted to get a particular coating on there. It's the same stuff Volphin has on his PPH's, Jet-Hot Sterling coating. Any way that if this isn't what's being used, requests can be made to do that?

it's a ceramic coating. it comes looking almost aluminum, but dulls to a gray after a whil. they'll all be the same, you'll need to have yours recoated later or contact PPH to have yours shipped uncoated maybe.

Just one last thing before we completely close this buy?

I wanted to thank everyone involved with getting it off the ground. This goes for the people who bought the headers to Indy and Steve who let me use the DOC to hold the deposits. Pam and Mike have been great to work with in the past and still are. They'll contact all of you when the order is about done.

For those of you still on the fence, contact them directly to send in your deposits, but hurry. Supplies are limited and when they're gone this time, they're most likely gone for a very long time.

For those of you who are in on this, the contact information is below. Give them about 4 more weeks at least before you start to panic and call to ask where your headers are?

mleachcopam@aol.com
(714) 639-5220

Pam takes care of payments and Mike handles the technical stuff. turn around time on emails is about a day so again, don't panic. The order is made, they have your information and they'll contact you.

Thanks again.
