Thanks for the info. That’s where I was headed; is it bad or not. I thought it was the gas. Sometimes it get regular and thought it was developing a knock as a result.
You can run any fuel in it you want. Any computer controlled engine (read, anything with at least OBDII, from 96 on) has knock sensors to control engine knock. You will not damage your engine by running regular in a naturally aspirated engine. It may not run as well, and it will have less power, but you will not damage it. Turbo and supercharged engines are a different story though.
