There was much discussion at the plant tour as to where to have future events/gatherings/meets. Please post your ideas here. If there's something local in your area post it here with details.

LoundRango (Don) suggested the Mopar Nats out in Long Island (if memory serves) as well as the Nopi Nats in Georgia. Prez Steve knows that Steve from Dak-Dur.com is planning something again at Indianapolis Speedway which we could consider as well.

Post your ideas!!

Depending on the event that's organized we may be able to help you create an official event out of it and help you out with door prizes etc

The tour of the Biltmore Estate, Gardens, and Mansion is very pricey - we visited there in April and paid $42+/person for the tour.
And Tiger's golf course probably won't be open by next spring.
Asheville area is a great place to tour, and it's also close to the Blue Ridge Parkway which would make for a great "D" cruise.

Of the many options at the estate, Biltmore has a self guided tour, a guided tour, a roof-top tour and a behind the scenes tour (you get the gardens and the winery that way too.) For my money and recommendatiions, go on all four of them in that order. You'll get a total feel of the place, the history, etc. It's amazing.

If we go as a club, we'd stay at a less expensive hotel like that on the plant tour when we're in Ashville unless I could work out a deal with the Biltmore Hotel folks for a larger group.

When I'm a billionaire, my estate will be named Bridemore.

My room costs will be zero, as I have inlaws in the area. Great leaf color in the fall. About 2 hours or so from the smokie mountain rendevous.

That's where I'll be. My mother-in-law has a very small home on the campus at WCU in Cullowhee,NC. With the wife and me the house is really full. There are some great places to stay though, all through asheville and the surrounding areas.

I'd also love a Durango run. Colorado is beautiful.

BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY!!
Ya'll better get that viper brake upgrade kit.

My daughter and I carved that road on the 06 Power Tour.

Let's just say my brakes we're smokin when we got to the bottom.

I've always wanted to do the Blue Ridge! I have distant friends in Macon County (west of asheville) and they do this for fun.

We really would be game if I can get the planets to line up just right.

"Summit Truck Fest in Ohio. When I mentioned it then this Blue Ridge came up so I thought they were connected somehow."

No connection that I know of. They both sound like good ideas. The STF is an event, the Blue Ridge Pkwy is a spinoff of the Biltmore idea, which is more of a tour :D. We northern guys can take the Blue ridge down to Biltmore- and that would be unreal!
