Man I was reading a thread and lost my place since...
Anyway I think it was an older thread.
Do any of you current 2014+ members use one and how it is holding up? Is it sealing well against the pan? Stock torque specs good with it?

The last time I used one was in a different app. I had used one in an aluminum radiator. I think it was a CSR or CSF, yeah I suffer from CRS, lolol
It was on the Titan blown 5.6 rig and with a short elbow hose work great.
I'm thinking of installing one to the D oil pan, or buy a new drain plug. I rack up the miles quickly. Another OCI this weekend.

I have one on my '14 5.7L, works fine.

Later 5.7Ls (2015+ I think) may need a slightly different valve or an extension, the earlier valve hits the raised area around the drain hole.

2014 120K miles do all my own oil changes at 5K intervals works great. Lots of road trips to Vermont in salty nasty conditions it shows no signs of wear or leaks. I like the rubber nipple I have been sending my oil to Blackstone Labs and there may be some silicates that hang up on the nipple if its not covered. They reports always come back lower than average " Low silicon and low insolubles show good air and oil filtration " . I use an oiled air filter from legmaker cold air intake and K & N oil filters.

On my 2018 rt i had to take it off as it was uncomfortably tight against the lip on the pan and wouldnt seat all the way. But some have not had issues either on similar years so maybe its just me. I tightened it down and had a slow leak so ditched it. But the plug doesnt bother me, its the filter that always makes a mess!
