Full Size Spare Specs?

Just got a 2016 Citadel and it came with a donut spare. I would like to go and buy a 18 in rim and throw on a full size tire for it.

What is the spec for the 18" rim? Width and offsets?
What is the spec for the full size tire that will fit on this rim? Would it be a 265/60R18?

Also, will the whole package still fit underneath my car?

just order a factory wheel and get a 265/50/18 tire, or find a totaled jeep or Durango with a hitch.

Rim size means nothing, well it needs to fit over the front brakes so a 17" will not work. All u need to do is make a tire wheel combo thats 30.6" tall .. 265/50/20 is 30.6 265/60/18 is 30.6"

Yes a steel 20" wheel with a 265/50/20 will fit.

I've got the tow package on my Citadel...which is in the shop right now (bumper is being resprayed). If this hasn't been fully answered when I get the vehicle back Thursday or Friday, I'll take a look underneath and see what I have. Pretty sure the full-sized spare is an 18" wheel though. Not sure of the tire size.

R/T Durango or Tow Package stock spare tire is 265/60/18 which is a 30.5" tall tire, rim is 18x8" the 20" aluminum wheel and 265/50/20 will store in the spare tire location as well as its a 30.5" tire

I bought a "full size" spare from a D owner on here who had a D (R/T I believe) with 265/50/20 stock, and the spare came on a steel with a Kuhmo 245/65/18... just looked at it mounted under my D now

Thanks for the info everyone! I bought a 2014 durango 20" wheel and threw on a brand new ohtsu 5000ST 265/50/R20. The whole assembly fit into the spare wheel well perfectly. It's good to have peace of mind during emergencies. That spare is a joke...Whole thing cost me ~$260 from ebay.

On another note, what do you guys do to protect the spare? or is it nicely protected being under the vehicle already? This is my first outside of the car spare tire. Pretty sure I might have scratched the rim dragging it into position...My JGC stored the full size spare inside the trunk (which makes more sense to me). I thought about plasti-dipping the whole spare for protection, or is that too paranoid? :) I just don't want this thing to be exposed to rocks, salt, or dry rotting.

If it's a matching rim to the others, plasti-dip is a good idea. My jeep has 5 matching rims and the spare has taken a beating! You can also do 5 tire rotations to minimize the amount of time 1 rim spends under the Durango.

Nah, it's a different style with scratches already on there. I plan on using it only in blow outs. thought about just getting a large piece of plastic that I can thread though with the pull cable. The added size of the rim is already pushing the max length of the cable.

The Fullsize spare rims on these are just black Steal rims right? I wonder if it would be a viable option for a rim and tire set up for winter or off road use to save my 20' chrome rims.
