Hey I'm new on here, just looking for advise. So I am rebuilding my front suspension 98 durango 5.9 on a budget. I've got upper control arms new, bushings and ball joints for lowers. Plus new shocks and cv axles. Just looking for some advice on how to. Thanks

Why buy all the parts if you don't know how to put them on? I don't get it. Why not have an actual mechanic do it for you? On a budget means you bought your own parts. Now pay a pro to install them so it's done correctly, especially if it will then need an alignment.

Spring Compressor
Various sockets and wrenches
Pickle Fork(s)
Wire to hang your calipers so they don't dangle on the brake hose.
Torque wrench
Get a Chiltons manual or another manual for replacement help

Good Luck!

You didnt mention whether this is a 2wd or 4wd. The 2wd have front coil springs which will be under very high pressure and can be dangerous if not handled correctly. A spring compressor is a must for safe disassembly. The 4wd versions have a torsion bar style spring which is easier to work on. Like Vice said, make sure you have a manual with all the torque specs.....

Look asking for advice TinFoil Hat, I can do my own work, I know I will need alignment. I'm just asking for some simple advice not criticism and talked down too.
I wasn't talking down to you. The way you wrote the post, especially leaving out the deets of what your DD even is, led me to believe you were inexperienced in this type of repair and were looking for step by step virtual repairs. Your post still reads that way and if you didn't already know what Saleen wrote then I would say I was correct. Someone who regularly works on their cars would know about what you asked.
