Hey Hair-son, it's a Fire D! He's got a ton of pix posted. Just search.

Never any weanies & marshmellows when you need them. lol

He has enough Lights on that D for an entire Fire Department.
Nice pics John!

Actually, I think the front plate on his D says, "Fire Police". So that's half fire and half police I guess. Volunteer or a paid position? Dunno.

We don't have such a mixture here in Indy that I'm aware of.

Brownsburg Fire Territory has a Gen 1 D for an EMS Chief?he actually lives a subdivision over from me.
Kool. I don't think I've seen it. However, he's not called a "Fire Police" I don't think.

Speaking of the BBurg FD. Mrs Indy was cooking and set off the fire alarm. Well, ADT sent the FD out to the house, even though everything was fine. No harm no foul really. However, I failed to reset the alarm at that time and then at 1am in the morning, I too set off the alarm resetting it to go to bed. Again, the FD came out to the house. I called ADT right away but the default is to call the FD 1st and the homeowner 2nd on Smoke/Fire alarm tripped signals. They were already rolling and it was too late to call them off. I was waiting outside for then when they came down the street. :| The next day, I took 2 dozen bakery cookies (the big, good kind) over to Station 1 as a thank you and as an apology.

I'm sure they appreciated it! BB Fire has three D's I think, one for the EMS Training Chief, Fire Training Chief and then a Battalion chief if I remember. My neighbors the Batt chief? I see him driving around every now and then.

PA, DE, MD, VA, NJ, NY, CT, and I think Ohio and a couple of other states have Fire Police. We're basicaly the traffic unit of our FD's. And handle other special events like parades when the cops need extra help dealing with crowds and traffic. We also help out the cops when needed with traffic on accidents. We help keep the incident scenes safe so our fire fighters and EMS people can do their work without the on lookers getting in their way. LOL and yes Indy we all are volunteer. We also help out in our neighboring communities when they have a major incident or special event. As in a couple weeks ago when a idiot decided to have a standoff with the cops. They needed extra help with traffic control in order to lock down the area.
