Hey everyone,

I have a 2014 black awd R/T on order, should be here in two to three weeks. I am coming from g37s with some mods.

Just wanted to introduce myself as I am sure I will be active on this site.

A few quick questions:

- Has anyone run the 1/4 mile with new 14 R/T? Just curious what these muscle suvs can do.
-With regard to the 14s, are there any good tuners available? Curious if a tune could bring the D up to the Ram 5.7 output?

Looking forward to taking delivery and getting back into a r/t. I used to have 2003 dakota r/t. Miss having torque.

Others can speak to this better than myself, but only one I know of is the Hypertech Interceptor. It isn't truly a programmer though. I have a Superchips for my Ram 1500 and can adjust shift points, octane, etc. I think I heard mention of another mfr that is releasing one soon. Here is link to Interceptor, p/n 705033, it is same as '11-13.

Thanks for the welcome and replies.

It looks like Motortrend got a 15 flat with the 14 r/t. However, I'm wondering if a AWD with a better launch could break into 14s? If so, that mighty impressive.

I am planning on putting intake and a tune on the D. Seems like the exhaust is already nice and throaty.

It sounds good from inside the vehicle. Standing outside it sounds like shit.

I am waiting on mine, hopefully will be here the end of next week.

I have a Mopar CAI for it and bright pedal kit in laundry room. Wife went digging through the box and pulled out the air filter thinking it was a decoration of her's. Doooh!

Plan on getting the Diablo Intune I1000-DCX tuner when I get so more cash after the purchase. Also looking into a muffler delete bolt on to make it louder but not sure if that will really do anything for performance though.

All I have done so far is tint and mopar CAI. Thinking of doing Fastman TB and a tune eventually. Also may change out the muffler- thinking going with spintech - had one on my dakota r/t and it was baaad!

Based on what I learned today from Steve, the muffler is actually the suitcase that is near the center of the vehicle! The resonators are by the tips, I think they are 2.25" inlet. I haven't measured outlet since I wasn't planning to keep those.

I don't have mine just yet so this is why I am asking. What's the stock setup underneath? Two pipes going into the muffler, two pipes out to each of resonators?

Try going to the Borla web site and looking up the installation instructions for their Durango CAT back. Some very nice pictures.
