Hi guys. I got my FIPK "pre-loved" and as such, it doesn't have cleaning and maintenance instructions. A search here didn't yield good results. So since this the first air filter I'm not supposed to just throw out and replace, how do I clean it? I saw one suggestion about the dishwasher?

I use the garden hose to was out the media. Wash from the inside out, never the outside in. Then re-oil lightly via the oil from Summit, or Marvel Mystery Oil. Without the oil, the filter doesn't filter.

When you get the oil from K&N or Summit, you get a bottle with the kit. One time purchase and then save the bottle for future use with any oil you want?
