Hello all. I've had to back off of the web for a bit due to personal issues.

However, I would like to showcase quite possibly the first 15 DD R/T achieving "safe" & "first" 550 RWP. We'll have to see those "firsts" for the 15's but I've found nothing.

I'll have video's and updates later. But wanted to share this with the DD crew.

Had quite a slew of issues with the installer, not sure how to reflect on them, yet. I managed worked things out with the tuner and he has done great. I won't be doing a reflection of them until some time has passed to see how the vehicle handles.

Preliminary mod(s): Whipple Supercharger, ARH Headers (1 & 7/8) & full straight exhaust (ceramic coated), and Alky Methanol Kit.

Yeah I have a buddy with a souped up Audi that runs E85. I will take less power and a fuel system that doesn't rot out over the advanced timing

It honestly doesn't hurt anything at e10 or e15 levels. Plenty of vehicles around here at high mileage seeing nothing but "up to 10% ethanol added" gas. My parents own a 2004 grand caravan with 170,000 miles on it and a 2007 caliber with 110,000+ both on the original fuel pumps. They bought both vehicles brand new.

Yikes that's expensive!

I just can't find it around here. For my boats I use Marine Sta-Bil on every fillup, boats feel the effects of ethanol worse than anything else. In power equipment I use regular Sta-bil, and have had good luck.

Sorry we are so far off topic, back to supercharging!

If you're running E85 you will lose more than 1MPG. I have achieved 22.5 MPG in my Ram on Ethanol free 89

I use Marine Sta-Bil in my Hondas (mower and 4 stroke weed wacker) too, its supposed to be better than the regular stuff all around.

did you have to run spacers to fit on with the brembos.. heard from velgen that they wouldn't fit with brembos on. I just got my Velgens two days ago.

Ok, I thought but wasn't sure. Can't wait for mine to get installed.

Is this the RIPP kit?

No....it is a Whipple.

Thanks for asking... Most of them were fixed. Transmission has some minor nuances. With the new tune I'm at 533rwhp. I'll be posting a dyno sheet and videos later... been trying to enjoy a ride I've been without for almost 6months.

Ill be doing an editorial regarding my whole experience.

One of the things that makes this project even more interesting is the introduction of the Duranto SRT. When all is said and done you'll be putting out more power for what I assume will be $15,000 less than the SRT will cost. I realize there will be more to the SRT in terms of components and body parts but still I can see even more 5.7 D's being supercharged as they age a bit and are out of warranty.

I'd guess you'll make your power quicker as well, though would have to compare dyno sheets to know for sure.

I am hoping that the cost of me doing it all, per HP as I like to compare, will be more effective - but sadly due to my slew of problems that I had... Probably has made it cost more. We'll have to see.

The biggest limitation of my vehicle without a question is the transmission. That will be the first big upgrade I do once I'm caught up on the bills. I do feel like with the new tune, that my vehicle has way more power - it accelerates and burns rubber so easy now.

Observing the changes definitely have me calling into question the integrity of the dyno numbers that my original installer/tuner did - let alone the slew of problems caused.
