Is the information from the Jeep Garage more accurate than contacting costumer service? From other posts it seems you can get a really comprehensive breakdown with a Level IV membership, but I'm wondering if that actual status is more reliable than costumer service would be. Thanks.

Thanks
Every time I called customer service I always got the same info i.e. D1 waiting for parts. The jeep guys check tracking several times a day and update it. It saves you from calling every so often to get an update so in that aspect it saves you time. I'll get the build sheet from them as well so for $30 it was worth it to me.

Thanks for that info. I've been using the chat function online to make it easier and they've been telling me D1 as well since I ordered on the 1st of April--I think I'll give the Jeep forum a shot. Thanks again!

I'm not a big fan of promoting another website, but the JG order tracking is really top notch.. I don't know of any other way other than working for dealer to get that level of information.

They aren't really Durango fans, but there are some good folks over there.. and a lot of folk here are there as well..

For pure Durango stuff, this is by far the better forum..

Well back in line for me. Walked away after dealer failed to order the tow package from the factory, did a dealer install and still wanted to charge me the full amount. Walked away. Now I am going to their biggest competitor and seeing about a dealer transfer or ordering a new one. At any rate this owning a Durango is becoming a bit of a process. At least I know the time frame now.

Sorry to hear this! I'm surprised they didn't call you and cave though!

I bet you still get yours before me if you re-order!

At this point they've made the whole buying experience an absolute hassle and emotional roller coaster that the wife doesn't even want a Durango any more. I am hoping it's just a knee jerk reaction but only time will tell. Funny thing is we breach contract they hold our feet to the fire. They breach it or fail to deliver its no big deal.

Wow...that's terrible!! That's rough to wait that long and have to start over (which is probably what they were banking on in not caving).

That just pisses me off..

When I ordered mine, I sat with the salesguy as he clicked the boxes on his laptop.. and walked out with a "Configuration Preview" in my hands to mull over..

This is what he saved, and when we did the paperwork is what he ordered. A week later, he emailed me the "Priced Order Confirmation" to make sure I was gonna get what I wanted.

I'm guessing a lot of dealers don't do a lot of orders..
