Siggi,

If you're worried about the time difference, just book Bangkok D's travel agent and you'll get in about 03:00, almost like getting home in the morning in Iceland. Sorry Dave, couldn't resist!! LOL
Yeah, and 03:00 your time is 07:00 my time so it's time for breakfast for me.

Another Heavy D burnout at Woodward

Not the best quality video thanks to operator error, but you should still get the point.
Also, check out the poor guy walking on the sidewalk when Heavy D lights 'em up.

Hope you all had a great time without me? had to work both jobs this weekend and missed out on the good stuff again!

Nice Durango HeavyD, how's the build doing?? Last time I saw you, you were trying out some new tunes.

He has that bad boy all dialed in! :cheesy:

As a matter of fact I did; that was my first stop. The trip was convenient and I hit American Jewelery and the Woodward Dream Cruise enroute to the hotel. Perfect layout, 8 Mile and Woodward were right on the way to hotel so no backtracking.

Obviously, you guys were received well by the plant folks. I'm surprised they let you take pics in the plant as they used to not allow that. Wish I could've been there.

We were surprised too!

I'd asked my contact about it the afternoon before and she said it's normally not possible to bring in cameras without a large pile of approvals, but they'd discuss it at Plant Staff meeting that morning before we arrived. And they have my phone number so, if anything gets out that shouldn't have been photographed, they know who to have the lawyers call. For better or worse. :(

Act like adults, get treated like adults.

Tom I hope your ride towards home today was a safe one.
I'd like to thank you personally for all the effort and planning you put into this event for us. Without your dedication and hard work it wouldn't have happened.
Thank You Tom!

I second that! It was well worth all of the effort everyone made to attend and it set the stage for annual visits. It might even result in the sale of a few more Gen 3's!

Thanks much!
Dave

I just rolled in and the first thing I wanted to do was thank Tom for all his hard work! :D
Thanks to you it was a fantastic tour and trip. My hat is off to you my friend!

Looking forward to the next time!

Hopefully everyone got home safe to our loved ones.

+4 for Tom's efforts! It should be noted that the person who did most of the setup and coordination for the Durango club tour owns a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I hope all parties who traveled in had a safe trip back and I hope Woodward was a good showing, or at least great cruising. I also hope the Chrysler Museum tour was a great time. I left around 1:00 and got home around 7.00. I did get caught in some local traffic coming out of Detroit, but once out of the city limits I made good time. A quick fuel stop in Toledo and no major traffic problems after that.

That's a great write up. Maybe it'll help bring new members to the group.
