What a great weekend. Good food, good beer and the best people. Congrats to Ricardo Reyes, Dwayne Messerschmidt, and Rick Morgan on the 123 finish. What a great looking bunch of Durangos there at the show!

Here's a pictuce of less than half the DOC Durangos there.

Carlisle was a blast! Met up with a great bunch of folks, and had a ton of fun. The rumors of rowdy behavior & peer pressure-induced burnouts are completely (un)true! Is it our fault they routed the Test Drive course right next to our tent?? Besides, the Test Drive official was cool after we fed him some of that teriyaki chicken!

Congratulations Rick and Dwayne on the voting results. Here are a few more pics from the Wendy's Pre-Show Rendezvous and The Show.

Two words?Awe?some!! Congrats to our fellow DOCers for taking the wins. And what a great time was had by all. I think the DOC had one, if not the, biggest congregations present (PT clubs don't count  ) Great to meet everyone again. Hey Don, next time we shatter some glass!!

We came close to closing down the test rides due to some "audience participation in the DOC tent"? next time, I say we finish the job?

And I have to say, the PT people really don't have a sense of humor?

Anyway, it was a great time and it was great meeting all of you, both old and new members. There sure were some awesome people there this year.

Hat's off to the people who got this put together!

Good call Dwayne, how could I have forgotten to give thanx to Mr. Steve Smits (Fastdango) for keeping on top of everything. He really went all out to get the participation that we had. Kudos to you Steve.

Hi everybody!

Yeah, as you all might have noticed, my trip to Carlisle didn't go that well. Up on 270, just outside Frederick/MD, some a? clown side-swiped my D!! I was trying to get from the left lane over to the very right side?catching that off ramp! Wow, folks really don't know how to drive around here. He took off my front bumper, ripped off the front wheel flare and dinged & denged a few other things up front.

The D is at the shop as we speak?getting fixed. Oh, I WENT BALLISTIC after I had gotten out of the D. It took PLENTY of self-restraint not to loose it right there.

Cheers,
Nico

If you had to drive one of those little hearses, I don't think you'd have much of a sense of humor either, Dwayne.

OK OK!

So I have been waiting all day to post.
Rick as for the dent in my door, no worries it's gone. My buddy's cousin has a dent removal business and he came over tonight at around 5 pm to removed the dents in the door. Only thing left is the chip and I can handle repairing that.
Like you stated, we should have spread out more. We reserved 25, we should have gotten that. It's for that reason I'll be contacting Lisa Leathery at Carlisle about getting the DOC deposit back as we did have 25 preregistered.

Moving forward. I'd personally like to say I'm proud to be one of the leaders of this fine club. We came, we rocked, we got noticed?quite a bit, amd we earned respect! Without a doubt we had the best Durango's there.

Now HCOR we need to get you signed up and you'll get the discount rate as promised, we just got real busy there. As for the winners we had all 3.
Mr Reyes, who won first place, can't wait to join!

Dwayne Messerschmidt. Who could ask for better member? A great guy with a great family that were all fun to hang with this weekend.

And Rick Morgan. Well deserved award man! Lots of hard work went into that D. It was great to meet you as well and hope we can get you to some other great events.

Chuck "Big Dog" great beer!

Next month is the All Truck Nats, August 6-8, which I'll attend. Anyone interested, see the post listed All Truck Nats.

T-shirts looked awesome?thanks Ateve and Angela

Looking forward to all upcoming events. I guess the next biggie is the Plant Tour. Time to start working on the scheme of things for that event.

Great job fellow Durangoers and Ram owners. They'll remember us!

Steve Smits
Your proud to be Vice President!

From what I'm reading, I wish I coulda been there. Well, I won't be able to go to the Truck Nats because that's my drill weekend and I'm also going on vacation from the 7th to the 20th of Aug. Gonna be out in CO. Maybe meet up with some DOCers out there?? :D But, I will be at the Plant Tour in Sep with my better half and our D
 Congrats to the winners :!: :!:

Sorry all for leavin without a goodbye

Well, I learned a very valuable lesson at Carlisle. don't eat the hot dogs from that stand near the grand stand! I started feelin sick a few hours after eating them, and by 10pm, I was bedridden, couldn't move and was only capable of vommiting. I went back to the field to say goodbye to everyone around noontime, I saw Tyrone and Dwayne, but couldn't find anyone else. It was a great time and congratulations to the winners. I had a good time up until the food poisoning. Went to the doctor today, and she claims I could be out of commision for up to 3 weeks . Hope everyone had a great time, and thanks to Steve and everyone else who helped arrange a good time. Hope to see you all soon, however, all truck and plant tour both aren't looking good at all. Knock em dead at the all trucks.
