Durango 2011-2013 owners,

I have Durango 2013 and I have noticed recently that when I switch the car on before I start the engine, the car indicators go on for may be 3 seconds and then disappear and then the engine light stay on, when I start the engine, the engine light goes off is this normal?? Do you experience the same?

Yes its normal. The engine light is usually on when the engine is off. Been like that on every car I've ever owned.
