Engine coolant fluid on Add line

I might some heat for this, but go to the dealer to buy it. It’s only gonna be a gallon.

Since your Durango is so new, I would drop by my friendly dealer, and request that they top it off at no charge. The coolant needed, is purple, and good for 10 years or 150k miles.
If you like, you can Google Dodge purple coolant, and you should get all kinds of good information.

Got it, weirdly it looks pink-ish in my vehicle

Yes:
As the purple stuff ages, it migrates towards a kind of dirty pink appearance.
If you get the premix instead of the concentrate, you don't have to worry about the 50/50 water AF mix.

Is that picture when the engine is cold? If so, once it heats up, the level should rise some......

yes, cold vehicle has been sitting since day before
I'll check again when running

After running for a while it does raise to about in between full and add

Hmm just got the coolant, seems to be a different color than what I have in the vehicle

In vehicle is pink, and the gallon I got is purple

Return it and go to a Dodge dealer and get the right stuff. May be a few bucks more but it is worth it.

I just found this which makes the case your pink is really purple.
