Hi -

After 3 great years, something had to give. And it was the plastic on the side of the driver's seat that covers the controls for moving the seat. As you can see in the attached pictures, the plastic cover attaches to a metal rod that's part of the seat assembly/track. When I was getting out of the car, sliding off the seat over time probably weakend the plastic and a piece that wrapped around the metal bar to hold the plastic on snapped off.

Do you think this will have to be a dealer fix? The electronics are built into that plastic cover, so I'm thinking there

might not be another option.

Has this happened to anyone else here?

PS: Put your posts in one of the Gen 3 sub-forums as you drive a GT and not an SRT or Hellcat.

Just seeing this. I have the same issue. Electronic come out very easily, if you can find a replacement part is 1XN97DX9AA, and I can't find one. I drilled 2 holes and looped around the bar with zip ties. That worked for about 4 months, then the screws near the seat belt pulled out. Anyway, anyone know where to get a 1XN97DX9AA, outside of a junkyard? No one has them in stock

Only 'fix' is to replace the part either DIY (you need a star drive to remove the seat belt attachment) or have the dealer do it.
