Hey everyone, since it starting to get cooler here, I've noticed a creaking noise in the back of the vehicle. Not sure if it's suspension related, but when I accelerate, the noise happens. It was a little warmer yesterday, and after awhile it stopped, but this morning it's colder and won't go away. Anyone else experience this? 2021 tow n go package.

Check and make sure your spoiler is not rubbing your roof when the hatch opens or when it is closed.
There is a known issue with this and it will cause your spoiler to break off.

Also check to make sure the push clips for all of your interior panels and roof trim are fully seated. They have been known to be improperly installed by the factory so something could be loose.

Yes especially the trim panel right on the top inside of the rear opening.
Dodge manufacturing installers are not very good.

Ok so I have an update on this for anyone searching. Rear exhaust was rubbing bumper, so that was adjusted. Still a couple other noises, which was the exhaust heat shield rubbing the exhaust as well. There was also a lower shock bolt that was loose, so that was retorqued. I believe it was the heat shield that was making most of the noise, but it has been resolved now. Thanks everyone.

I seem to be experiencing the same creaking in my 2022 SRT, which I believe has the same exhaust as your TnG. My dealer claims that they cannot replicate the sound even though every time I get into the truck, I hear the noise. It almost sounds like it's coming from inside, but I haven't been able to replicate the noise by moving and pushing on things and no one that I've asked to help has been able to pinpoint the location. It's extremely annoying considering it's a $95K vehicle and only a few months old. By any chance, did your dealer give you any additional details about where the noise was originating, how they found it and what they did to fix it? Any insight you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, sorry I should have updated this. the next summer the noise actually came back and it came back much worse. The good news is that the mechanic drove around with me and could hear it as well. They had the vehicle for awhile and ended up getting an engineer to take a look. It was a rear bushing that was completely destroyed. They had the rear end completely taken off to replace it. It wasn't a pretty sight. It's fixed now and never heard the noise since. I can't find the work order to give you the details, but it's definately just an odd issue with mine. Hopefully yours isn't the same situation. I'll see if I can get a copy emailed to me.

Yikes. That doesn't sound good at all. Strange that the exhaust and heat shield adjustment solved the issue initially. How long did it take them to figure out that the source was the bushing? Was the bushing part of the suspension? Thanks for the reply.

Interesting. I think my tires were rotated when I got my first oil change, but my creaking is coming from the rear. My truck is at the dealership right now so I can't check if that same part is present on the rear of the vehicle. I will ask in the other thread.

This was my rear inside noise. It popped out an caused a load squeaking noise metal on metal.
Thanks for the reply. What is that and where is it located? The dealership currently has my truck and they've taken apart the entire rear interior. Hopefully, they can put it back together without making it worse.

This is under the storage bucket on the left side of the trunk. Where the emergency fuel door pull cord is.
