Hi yesterday my car started leaking coolant in passenger side before that before I would break it would do a jerk from the right side I checked the car today and this part was unattached can you guys please tell me what it is

Looks like a lower radiator hose, the black plastic thing is the thermostat. If im correct. What engine do you have?
