I am currently shopping for my new Durango and having a miserable experience. I thought I was taking the easy approach by conducting my business solely via email, but you can always count on a dealer to make things go awry. For example:

1. One dealer stopped reading my list of required packages and options after the first line and has been spamming my inbox with iPhone pictures of every Durango, no matter the color or trim package, he has on the lot and asking "is this what you want?".

2. One told me that since demand is extremely high, they are only selling Durango's at MSRP.

3. One insists he has a vehicle with red Nappa leather interior and Beats by Dre sound system, even though the factory has yet to ship one.

4. One is telling me that you cannot order a Durango.

Another few days of this and I will buy a damn Nissan Leaf. /rant
That's horrible. I would use the dodge inventory site, find the one you want with the options, go to TrueCar find their price for the vehicle, take $500 off that price, contact the dealer and tell them you'll buy that durango for the price you calculated and see what they say.
