Is anyone else having issues viewing posted pictures while using Tapatalk?

Yes, it's only when using Tapatalk, and it's a plugin that the forum administrators need to update/fix.

We have this issue on the Charger forums as well: https://www.chargerforums.com/threads/tapatalk-pics.384664/&share_tid=384664&share_fid=90731&share_type=t

I also noticed it on couple others... Assumed it was a Tapatalk code/plugin mismatch. I do most of my posting on Durango .... So I posted here. Thought if others chimed in.. it would get fixed quicker.

I hear that.

I hope it gets fixed soon as its super annoying, and Tapatalk is the only way I get on forums,. Guess for now, I've got to put up with not seeing images from other Tapatalk users, my posts included, until it is fixed. The other forum I linked to, the administrator has been notified, and so far nothing has changed. Hope it gets worked out sooner on this forum.

We are working on this with tapatak support.

Thank you! Just some additional info on my part. I am a "beta tester" on Google Play Store. I have many beta apps installed. I do participate in the Tapatalk beta program. I did report the issue with this and other forums to them.

Hey guys,

Thanks for all the feedback. We've escalated this and are working with Tapatalk to get this resolved. Sorry for the inconvenience with this.

I've found posting a link, like a copy and paste always inserts an extra /URL at the end. So for example:

URLhttps://example_of_a_bad_link.com/URL/URL

URLhttps://example_of_a_good_link.com/URL

This is new, and it didn't do that before, so I've been deleting the 2nd URL at the end. Now when I post a link, it seems to show up correctly when I post it.

Edit:

Had to get rid of the [ ] quotations on either end of URL or my post here would get messed up. So when a normal link gets put in when you copy and paste it'll have those quotations on the beginning and end of each URL. Meaning one URL at the beginning of a link with quotations, and one /URL at the end with quotations.

Also, that extra /URL at the end only shows up AFTER you post, so you have to go back in and edit it out to fix it, then the link will show up properly as a result.

Hey,

are you adding the manually before you post? You should just be able to copy and paste the link directly into your post, so no need to add the part, the system will automatically do that for you. I posted both links above this way and they both posted fine. Niall

Can't edit this post for some reason?
Tapatalk link test:
https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/tapatalksupport/dodge-durango-net-picture-issues-t43819.html&share_tid=43819&share_fid=90&share_type=t

Dodge Durango.Net picture issues
Update: same results with the copy/paste?
Update: edited link does not work.
Another link try: https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/tapatalksupport/viewtopic.php?p=234609#p234609
This one works..links to a thread I started with Tapatalk Support.

I just straight up copy and paste without editing, because there isn't anything to edit yet. It looks fine before I post, but is messed up after I post. Here is a direct copy and paste to the "Gen 3 Durango Photo thread".

[/URL]

As you can see it messed up so here it is again:

https://www.dodgedurango.net/threads/gen-3-durango-photo-thread.19456/&share_tid=19456&share_fid=70908&share_type=t

After this posted, I went back in and deleted the extra /URL at the end and now it works.

Edit: Nevermind. This time it acted differently, and I had to delete the entire first line that has Tapatalk in the link. It appears to be adding that as a URL as well as the actual link, so I see 2 URL's, one with a Tapatalk link, the other with the actual link. And of course it is still adding 2 /URLs at the end. That may be because of the Tapatalk link at the beginning.
