I recently bought a 2018 R/T with the beats audio. For a factory system it’s ok sounding but nothing special.
Eventually I’ll upgrade all speakers & amps to get a proper sounding system.
In short though is there any cheaper way to ugrade the non existent factory sub to actually get some bass out of it before going to an all out build? What little the stock sub does currently I’d rather have the extra under cargo space that it takes up.

Get a line out converter, amp, sub, and sub box. I had the alpine system in my scat pack and the beats in my d and the beats is a steaming pile of garbage. Just need time to install my sub and amp.

That’s not what I wanted to hear. Haha
Doable though, shollow mount sub in a box should still be able to fit where the factory sub is.

You can install a nicer slim 8" sub and put a compact 300W amp in the same space. Maybe $500 invested and quite a bit of improvement.
