So I have a '98 Durango that I've had for a while now, have made multiple fixes n tweaks to it. Got a problem I have not seen before though...when I turn my headlights on (pullout knob) they don't illuminate. I flick my high beams on to get them to illuminate then flick them off to low beam to get them to stay on. Wiring looks good, relays, and fuses are good but still not functioning as normal when I turn on my headlights. Bad high beam/turn signal switch or am I going in the wrong direction as far as fixing it? Bad headlight switch even?

I realize this is an old post, but I wanted to pipe in just in case someone else is having this issue. I have a 2005 and my high beams wouldn't turn on intermittently. I would push the knob for a while and they would come on. I replaced the headlight switch and it has worked flawlessly ever since.
