Anyone see any good pics of the brand new R/T wheels?

The vehicle builder on the Dodge website shows the new Crystal Granite R/T wheels, but the Options page still shows the now-old Hyper Black wheels. Has anyone seen any other images of the new wheels?

These are the best pics I could find. I'm not a fan....or I should probably say, I much prefer the current Hyper Black wheels. The Hyper Black's aren't going away all together are they? I wonder if they'll still be a (no price difference) option with the R/T. I'd imagine that the Ralleye add-on option with the SXT & the Limited would still come with the current version of the Hyper Black's?

No idea if the Hyper Blacks are going away entirely, but since the R/T doesn't currently have a no-cost wheel option, I doubt they would start now.

I'm trying to decide if I like these new ones better than the Hyper Blacks. I think I do. They do look more performance-oriented to me, and they do better differentiate the R/T from the Citadel (or the other trim lines with the Rallye package).

I'm glad they stuck with a charcoal shade and not black. I'd choose the Blacktop package if not for the all-black wheels. They look too law enforcement or winter steel wheels to me. The only way I like black wheels is if they have some lighter accents, a la Ford Explorer Sport.

The "Old" you used as an example are not, and were never, an actual available wheel. They are auto show specials to make you go, "Woowoo!!". They are wider than any wheel actually offered for sale on the Durango. I hate that they do this....If it has a badass wheel on the Auto show circuit.....I want to be able to have that wheel available on my car. Farging Bastages......

One of my local dealers has a couple of RT's with the new wheels that have arrived. Both RT's that have pics uploaded to the site are the Billet Silver color.

Edit...add on

For comparison's sake. An SXT with Ralleye that they have in the same color with the "old" HyperBlacks.

I really hope they don't completely discontinue the HyperBlacks. I much rather prefer those to the new one's above. JMO.

Thanks for sharing, this is great! I do like the HyperBlacks, but I do think the new wheels look much sportier and fitting for the R/T. I thought that when I first saw the photos of the new wheels (which were taken at an angle) but these straight side view photos confirm it for me.

Now...does that new R/T have Beats audio???

I haven't cared for any R/T wheel styles since the last one used in '03 ('04 for the Dakota).

I honestly think they do you R'T guys a disservice by using the same wheels on the lower optioned models and Jeep GCs also. I think they should have an R/T-specific badass wheel and it should be an inch wider like the first gen R/T wheels were.

I think that's what these new wheels are. I believe that they are only going to be available on the R/T. The "old" R/T wheels which are the Hyperblacks will probably be only available with the Rallye trim line. At least that's what I think Dodge is doing with this new wheel change. Kind of weird we haven't seen any official word on them I'd say.

I personally have no problems with the Hyperblacks and like them more than these new R/T one's.
