The vehicle builder on the Dodge website shows the new Crystal Granite R/T wheels, but the Options page still shows the now-old Hyper Black wheels. Has anyone seen any other images of the new wheels?
No idea if the Hyper Blacks are going away entirely, but since the R/T doesn't currently have a no-cost wheel option, I doubt they would start now. These are the best pics I could find. I'm not a fan....or I should probably say, I much prefer the current Hyper Black wheels. The Hyper Black's aren't going away all together are they? I wonder if they'll still be a (no price difference) option with the R/T.
Yep, old style. I wonder if the Blacktop rims will be changing to the new R/T design? Those are Blacktop rims.
I think that's what these new wheels are. I believe that they are only going to be available on the R/T. The "old" R/T wheels which are the Hyperblacks will probably be only available with the Rallye trim line. At least that's what I think Dodge is doing with this new wheel change. Kind of weird we haven't seen any official word on them I'd say.I honestly think they do you R'T guys a disservice by using the same wheels on the lower optioned models and Jeep GCs also.
