Wasn't sure where else to put this, buuuuuuut...just curious. I can't be the only one who loves the looks of the Durango over the JGC and wanted the extra space but doesn't need the 3rd row seating at all.

The SSV/police version doesn't have the 3rd row, never seen one in person so I don't know if the back is just bare or if there's a different cargo tray.

Even without the floor bins, you can see how easy it would be to install the custom sub and amp enclosure forward of where others have done this and still retain the existing hidden floor storage.

Ok, what are the steps to get this done? Love the look. I am installing new exhaust, new intake, whipple SC, and lowering my 2015 D RT… looking for ways to lower the curb weight… no need for 3rd row any more.

Ooooh the things I could do with all that SPACE!

If I didn't have kids and thus require the 3rd row sometimes, I'd definitely create something like that.

I removed mine when I swapped in the Jeep SRT seats didn't know they made bins I built a floor to house the stock sub and all the electrical stuff for my air suspension.

Fronts direct swap and second row which was a bitch since I had to swap the foam and covers from the jeep onto the Rango frames plus had to switch out the heated seat elements since the Rango has longer wires since the seats flip forward... It was a fun project

Ooooo very nice. That's actually a bit deeper than I thought. Are those 4 holes the bolt down points? Are they threaded?

I wonder if you could rmeove the rear storage tub and build a box that spans that whole section but still sits flush...

I couldnt get the picture to turn out good but I built a false floor all the way to the back seat it slips out to get to my Air ride wiring and I moved the stock sub forward as well

My lease runs out this year, Sorry I didn't snap any pics yet been so damn busy and I actually forgot until I just saw this thread. The Trade I maybe interested in or at least purchasing your storage boxes if I keep my 17 R/T. I have to decide that or get a new one.
