Anyone purchase Maximum Care (MOPAR Vehicle Protection) for new vehicles?

I purchased the Maximum Car lifetime protection when I bought the Durango 3 weeks ago, but have not received anything regarding coverage in the mail yet. When I went to their site it says there is no record of coverage for my vehicle. Shouldn't three weeks be enough time for the paperwork to have caught up? I just want to make sure I got what I paid for....

Anybody pick up this coverage for their new Durango? And if so, did you get a card or notification in the mail confirming your coverage?

Thanks!

I actually passed on the $1986 deal. Will probably regret it. Seems everything I buy with an extended warranty never needs it and everything I buy without one - disappoints.

Got my lifetime warranty on my '14 R/T for $1600. Apparently, they were able to treat me like an "employee" due to my current employer. This gave me 50% off their normal price of $3200, which now sounds like was inflated. We were buying our D to drive in the ground, so for $1600 it was a no brainer for us.

I've never had issues. Just keep the receipts when you bought the oil and filter and you can even snap a dated photo with your phone with the car when doing the oil change if it makes you feel better. You'd have to really neglect some required maintenance where the dealer could use it as an excuse to not cover a repair IMO.

I POSTED THIS IN ANOTHER THREAD, MIGHT HELP SOMEONE, KEEP IN MIND, DEALERS CAN BE BARGAINED WITH.

NEW MAXIMUM CARE (MINIMUM 5/60 PT WARRANTY)
Expires on 2097-04-12 or 999999 miles
Start Date 2014-01-13
Deductible Per Repair $100.00
Towing Coverage $100 Roadside Assist 800-521-2779
Rental Car Allowance $35.00 per day for a maximum of $175.00

Labstah, this is the warranty I got from Chrysler, this comes with a story though, I also was offered the 7/70 warranty at what the dealer told me was a discount at $2300 down from $2800 so I agreed, the day I was going to pick up my ride a co-worker stopped by and we got to talking about the new ride and he asked about the warranty, so I told him what I purchased, he jumped up and said dont do anything till I send you the info. on the warranty I got for my wifes Durango, which he did, he got it from a dealer in New Hampshire, so I called them and she told me she could give me the Max Care for $2180 so I had her e-mail the papers and I was going to get it but decided to call my dealer and told him to cancel the warranty I purchased with them and he was kind of surprised until I told him what I was getting at another dealer and for how much, he asked me if he could call me back and I told him he had a 1/2 hour before I had to fax these papers back to New Hampshire, 20 minutes later he called me back and said he could do the Max Care for $2040 go figure, so I got it from him. when I asked why I wasnt told about this from the jump he said they never offer it because it was to expensive (not when you shop around)read up on it, it covers everything from bumper to bumper, roof to rims, the only things not covered are brake pads and tires. Sorry for a long drawn out story but I hope it helps.......... Good Luck...

I too opted for the lifetime warranty, also got the gap coverage in case it get's totaled. Paid $2300 for the Lifetime with $100 deductible. Gap coverage pays the balance of the total paid for the vehicle. In case my insurance only gives me market value. Of course that cost extra $$$$ all said just another $80 a month on the payment.

I can't believe they will cover everything for the life of the car? Guess it will pay off 10-15 years from now when that Hemi drops a rod at the track ;)

Using mine 1 week after purchase. Uconnect radio has to be replaced after a botched firmware upgrade. Trouble is the dealership is 45 minutes away and they would only honor a rental under warranty the day it was diagnosed and the day its actually being serviced (today), nothing in between while waiting on the part. I decided to let them keep it and work things out at home with our one other car while we waited. I called them today at 3:30 to check status and they said the part had arrived and they'd shoot for tomorrow to install it. Great, I can rent a car and head that way to pick it up tomorrow....called me back at 4:30 saying they were done and it's ready for pickup, rental office closes at 6; I get off work at 5. Oh well, now I suppose I'll also get the $100 deductible treatment tomorrow as well as no rental. Owned the car for 2 weeks, only had it home for 1.

If I sound negative, some other things have also left a sour taste about the whole experience but are probably isolated to this dealership or even honest mistakes. I do like the peace of mind the lifetime warranty provides for major repairs but really didn't expect to use it for years to come. I'm going to stay positive that once I get the D back tomorrow that all of this will be behind us and enjoy the heck out of it for years to come like we did in week 1.

I've got about 4 different online prices and they are all around $2315 for the Chrysler Max Care lifetime with $100 deductable for my 2014 SXT AWD with 9985 miles. Off to the dealership to see if they can do any better. I purchased it with an Affiliate program for 1% under factory invoice with an additional $1500 in rebates in October. I wonder if the Affiliate program applies to Chrysler warranties...

I bought a Maximum Care 6/70 warranty with a $100 deductible for my 2013. I was under the year old/12,000 mile period so it was only $1,075. Seemed like a good deal, but like some others mentioned, I'll probably never get to use it. Happens every time I purchase a warranty, lol.

For anyone interested in the Chrysler Warranty, send an email to Clay Robinson at Zeller Motors in Kansas. clay@zellermotors.com. Lots of guys on the Jeep forums have been singing his praises. Clay not only gave the lowest price I had seen on the Chrysler Warranty, but his customer service was also top notch. His price was lower than the websites mentioned in this thread. Yes, it's a Dodge dealer. Yes, he only sells the actual Chrysler warranties. No, I'm not getting anything from Clay. I'm just happy about the whole transaction.

Dealing with Clay to get the warranty made my local dealer look pretty bad by comparison.

Hi guys,

I've been shopping around over the last couple weeks looking for a lifetime max care for my 2011 Ram 1500. Thanks to everybody's input, I just finished up the transaction with Clay for 2295 with 100 ded. We emailed back and forth a couple times yesterday then I called him with the payment info today. All done in 24 hours! Anyway, thanks again for the info.

Used Clay as Well - He rocks!

I just finished up with Clay as well. He was not only the cheapest, but was very easy to deal with. I had some challenges in my own communications, and he still worked it out with me quickly. I highly recommend Clay!

(I did get other dealer & online quotes before I emailed Clay. He was still the cheapest.)

Guys, I have been talking to Clay about the warranty! He has help a lot of us and he is currently in 2nd place for a contest. If you know of anyone that is on the fence about buying a warranty, hook Clay up like he has hooked us up!!

I purchased 5 year policy for about $800 and the bank reduced the interest from1.69% to 1.29% which over five years brings the cost down to $500. The main reason I purchased the extended coverage was the rate reduction! No paperwork other than my sales contract as of right now but it has only been a little over a week.
