White Knuckle or Vice White?

 

There actually is a difference in them, but it is very very small. In just the right light the Vice has a little more depth and you can see some flake in the paint. But in 98% of the lighting conditions I've seen, they look exactly the same - even sitting right next to each other. My dealer thought it was crazy to pay for Vice. Of course when you can afford the Hellcat, go big or go home!

It's there, right along with the short supply of microchips.

 

Not all problems are QC issues, exterior damage can happen at any time even in our possession.

 

Or during shipping. lots of things can happen to it from the factory to the dealership.

I know when the ‘15 Challengers were coming off the assembly line, the front splitter was getting damaged either by the train or trucks. Mine was damaged when that happened, a good chunk was taken out, so I had to have a new one. That’s why the newer ones have the yellow, purple, or pink banana on them from the factory.

 

Thats the problem putting them on a train.escalades are trucked in from Texas.

 

If I were to buy an Escalade, it would only be trucked across town

 

My 2019 Durango was vice white and I loved it. It almost sparked in the light. Thinking about doing something like this stripe again on the new HC. However instead of Mopar on the end I would have it be the Hellcat head on the end.

 

I've noticed Dodge boys like their stickers and stripes. As a lifelong GM guy, I really don't get it. Don't get me started on the asshats the put 3 foot hellcat logos on their quarterpanels...

 

If I had ordered a red one the obvious would have been REDWHINE.

 

I hear ya about the current challenges in industry world wide..but isn't there someone who's job it is to flag the easy stuff.. ...or is the plan to not worry and have the dealers do all the "touchups"...

 

I think the plan for Dodge is to get them out the door by any means honestly I don't think they have any other plans. Recently read RAM is making trucks and not finishing them untill they finally get the parts (chips) to finish them. Sounds like they want to keep production but can't quite finish them. Ford just said cut production that may mean jobs too.

 

Its bad...it would be like a classis Philly cheesesteak place running out of whiz.........

 

Also the DDHC may be in a special circumstances in that they can only produce them this year due to emissions requirements (at least that is according to Dodge)

 

This has been known since the vehicle was announced.

It'll only appear on the actual printed sheet. The URL you use to view the sticker just generates the information based off of the VIN, no personal information is attached to the VIN so it won't show that info on there.

 

I already have an escalade that's what I am trading in.

 

They delayed my ship date 4 times already.

Oh man, that's just awful.

Make sure they fix it under a dealer prep pre delivery ticket and not a body shop ticket. Last thing you want is your vehicle to fetch less at resale because it's showing body work damage repair that you didn't cause.

Reading about the new security upgrade that is coming. It’s like they are putting the valet mode into super slow mode. I should think they will be able add to the New DDHC and Trackhawks.
