Insurance job because someone was in over their head in payments would be my guess. Or, somebody had taken it for a joy ride and torched it after they were done.
Right?? Only bummer is any of these still on dealer's lots they want 20K over MSRP, not doing it that is why we ordered a 22 SRTWelp, new Escalade V starts at $150k

Looks like our DDHCs were the performance deal of the century.![]()
Definitely but, I'm not sure it's worth the premium. I am curious to see a comparison test between the two.the V will compete with the Merc/Jag/Audi ect....The tech/build quality/touch points will be in a different league from our cats....
Yikes, 3 tons and less power than the Hellcat Durango, yielding "under" 4.4 0-60. Some here have gotten below 4.4 in their stock SRTs.the V will compete with the Merc/Jag/Audi ect....The tech/build quality/touch points will be in a different league from our cats....
It's slight less power and weight than the TRX so I bet it will be similar in speed. I think Dodge quoted 4.4 and 12.9 for that and it's also an overachiever.Yikes, 3 tons and less power than the Hellcat Durango, yielding "under" 4.4 0-60. Some here have gotten below 4.4 in their stock SRTs.
To be fair @soulsea are you still going to order one?Welp, new Escalade V starts at $150k

Dang my completely un-abused is getting offers of 94-95k and press kit abused Durangos are going through auction at 100kForgot to post this in the forums...
On this episode of Factoid Friday - May 13, 2022 - To my surprise Dodge sent a bunch of the pilot production press DDHCs to auction within the last week and several have shown up on dealer websites this week. So far the three I have found for sale all happen to be F8 Green with differing configurations. VINs are 500284, 500292 and 500304. Marino CJDR in Chicago has two of them. The third is at Randy Marion CJDR in Wilkesboro, NC. If you are looking for a thoroughly abused DDHC at a ridiculous price...look no further! (For the record I have at least 10 development pilot DDHCs built, which won't be sold, and 28 press/fast feedback pilot DDHCs on my tracker and I am not sure if all of those will be auctioned or not, stay tuned!)

$99k gets you 14k miles and looks like it was ragged on.

Uconnect disconnects and reboots, half the time I would have to pull over and delete everything and start over. The drone is unbearable unsure who let that past. On pickup I had a coolant line blow off and after it was fixed there was and still is a burning chemical smell. Then after dealer having it a few times to try and clean the engine and exhaust as good as possible I got a rear seal leak and it spent another 3 weeks at the dealer. Two and half were negligence by the dealer, the part arrived and they lost it. The dealer had no loaners understandable…but when they offered a rental as a loaner they rescinded when I mentioned I fly a bit for work…somthing about a rental car sitting at a airport lol. I know I didn’t even argue with them whose ever heard of rental vehicles at airports. Even better than the dealer was Dodge Customer care and SRT case management. The vehicle was essentially down since I bought it. They open a case and call you, if you you miss the call and dial them right back you never get them. So your left with endless emails that feel more like a instant messenger conversation. I already owned a warranty so they offered oil changes and Mopar tire protection….sorry but i want the vehicle to not break down, or smell like a tire fire…not oil changes and curb rash protection. After going back and forth with them for weeks a random single month reimbursement showed up and an email claiming they closed my case. You spend close to 100k and your treated like you bought a compass. I have owned quite a few hellcats and CDJR vehicles in general and I won’t be back. What kind of issues?
Nothing more exhilarating than beating everything on the road in a 3 row suv.I can understand your cluster. In the end it is a mass produced aging 35k vehicle with 710 HP. What could go wrong...
On the flip side enjoying mine with its dual nature..in auto my 17 yo is logging miles on his permit..In track I've got all I can handle at speed.
