Lol I just checked my Uconnect version it is R14B.61....which seems old but everything works fine so not going to force any updates....

 

I had to reset mine twice yesterday. Android Auto, which hadn't been working for months, started working on it's own but the screen froze and wouldn't accept any commands. It is a very frustrating system

 

I'm usually all thumbs....but no drive yet...

I just checked my system version and it's R17.73. Do I need to have the dealer update mine to R17.99 or is this only an OTA update?

 

Per the TSB yours should have updated to 17.99 by now as that push started back on 11/08/21. Have your dealer update it to 17.99 the next time your in but they might only be able to update to 17.89 and then you should get 17.99 OTA shortly thereafter.

 

Anybody else get a lag between gears if you punch it in sport mode? It’s either from first to second or second to third. The rest is so smooth you can barely feel the shifts.

 

I only use track mode 🤔. May have to rest that out though

 

Sunday Stats - January 16, 2022 - Still have not seen the final DDHC production number from Dodge so I continue to manually update my tracker. Currently at 3248 for a total with more work to do. 8 DDHCs are still waiting on stripes to be shipped. At least 21 DDHCs have shown up on salvage yard websites.

Just picked her up from the detailers getting her ready for daily driver duty. She got a full vehicle Xpel wrap, ceramic coating on the wheels and calipers, tinted taillights, and they recreated the factory redline stripes on top of the Xpel as the OEM stripes were on backorder. Also has some 20x9 replicas with 275/50 Michelin X Ice winter tired put on since it's snow season up here.

 

As an aside..my PPF guy used 2 different xpell thickness that was 3 mil different and was able to cover the factory stripes such that the added thickness of the stripes plus the thinner ppf was same thickness on the adjacent paint..so no overlap seamless abutment....

 

I had asked my guy that and he didn't like the idea of seams as he said no matter how hard your try the edges show up over time. I'm gonna be curious how yours holds up over time. We'll have to compare in 5 years

Picked mine up on Jan 13.How do you read the vin number, are the last four digits the actual production number?

From what I’ve been told on here and other forums there is no way to find a build number. Dodge doesn’t treat the Hellcat any different than the SXT. They don’t seem to treat the owners different either.

 

A VIN is a VIN is a VIN. No build sheets in cars (just direct from Dodge only), no fender tags, no nothing now.

 

Billet is the only color those standard wheels work well with imho....nice and rare.......

 

Yeah, I found the stock wheels a bit strange with their two tone design as well.

For the Durango there is no "decoding" of the VIN number per se. The only thing you can get from the Durango VIN is the model, engine cylinders and AWD vs RWD. For example...

SD = V8 ENGINE (RD = V6)
JH9 = SRT HELLCAT (HDG = GT PLUS, JET = CITADEL, HCT = R/T RWD, JCT = R/T AWD, JGJ = SRT 392)
8 = CHECK DIGIT
M = 2021 (N = 2022)
C603675 = ASSEMBLY SEQUENCE (DODGE does not build in VIN order)
