Can anyone confirm what’s currently going down the assembly line right now? Still wrapping up the 21’s or a mixture of 21’s and 22’s?

Thanks in advance!!!

I ordered my RT on 11/12, and the dealer gave me a tentative ship date of early January. Just for the heck of it, I just started a chat with a Dodge rep. I'm guessing they have not started putting any down the assembly line, but at least it doesn't sound like there are any part shortages that will hold things up. "Your vehicle is about to enter assembly, all parts are now gathered. Congratulations! We lack an ETA at this time but please keep in touch with us for the very latest."

Once it’s on the line, it’s pretty fast barring anything unforeseen. Like a week max before being released for shipping based on what I went through as well as a lot of other folks. This is assuming what they told you is correct of course. Sounds promising and faster than I would have thought.

I ordered my '21 SRT on 11/06/21
Was built Dec 7th or 8th best I can tell. Was released for shipping Dec 9th.
Still in KZ status (shipping) today.
Only ETA I have is an e-mail from FCA stating the 30th of DEC.

Did it arrive yet? I have a 21 RT tng vice white/stripes That just got shipped and en route to Chicago. I almost feel like they built a load of 2022’s before my car.

That's correct--I'm an early 2022 order, and although my dealer had told me they were seeing it shipping by 1/7, there's still no build sheet or window sticker available and Dodge has only said they have the parts available, so they aren't built yet. I'm hoping things will start back up tomorrow after the holiday break.

Well dang it. As of 1:15 this afternoon. Still in the "parts are all here waiting and to be scheduled" zone. I hope this doesn't last long. I did ask on the Chat line what the build code was at the moment and she said she no longer has that information. Just the status "parts are all here waiting and to be scheduled" I will check again tomorrow.

I ordered my 2022 Tow n Go on 12/06/21 it went to D1 on 12/15/21, the frame was built on 12/23/21. It was just painted and quality checked yesterday (01/03/22). It is supposed to be shipped out at some point today (01/04/22). I talked with the dealer, eta is 01/15-01/28. So I guess we will see when it arrives at the dealer. So yes there are 22’s going down the line! Exciting.

I figured it had been a couple of weeks, so I messaged Dodge earlier to check on my '22. Still no build code / status update, just all parts are available and "the plant has sequenced your order for production." They suggested I check back in a week, so I guess I will. I don't want to keep worrying these poor people, I'm just really looking forward to getting this thing!

TnG definitely held up a lot of ‘21s, but so did blind spot, technology group and color. Now that they have the colors minimized and maybe temporarily fixed some supply chain issues, they’re “cookin with gas”.

what I'm curious about is will they bring back any colors for MY 2023 or 2024.

I can kind of understand them wanting to streamline production for 2022 after the slow rolling train wreck that was 2021. but there are probably 2 more years left of production after this. we know Stellantis-FCA is famous for bringing out 'special packages' or 'limited productions'.

are they really going to roll with only 4 colors for 3 years of production?
