43000 miles, slight grove in rear brake rotor.

I just noticed this today.
No issues with the brakes.

It looks like the pads are the wrong size.
It has never been changed.
Stealership has been the only place that has serviced it.

It's possible a piece of brake pad broke and caused the groove.
Ignore it, no problem here. However if it bothers you and it seems it does, have your mechanic check it.

Looks normal to me....carry on.

Sometimes a pebble can caught at the front of the pad. As noted above....carry on.

Otherwise, this has been a very good vehicle.
