This is the completed mileage after pulling into the driveway. I had the oil changed at the dealership on the eve before we took off to Florida. Surprisingly I do not see a difference in the gas we get now versus the gas we got when she was new. I try to add Lucas Deep Clean to her 3 times between oil changes. She purred like a happy kitten all the way there, and back. On I-40 East, running 75 mph with cruise control, she does tend to drop 2 or 3 mph climbing hills. A few times I had to gun her to get around the slow truckers running in the left lane on I-40, the tranny shifting, and pick up is still there.

She still gets the dreaded "Pentastar" rattle at startup, and it subsides a couple minutes later. We never start her and just take off. We always let her run about 3-5 minutes before we take off, if she has been sitting for awhile. After she cooled down, I checked the oil, and it's still right on the full mark, and a crisp bright honey colored. Now when shifting from reverse to drive, we come to a complete stop, and slowly rotate the shifter to drive.

Congrats! I have a 1st gen with 425K+. Your warming up procedure is vital, so is a cool down.

I wanted a gen1 for years, but finally gave up. I think a gen 1 with a Pentastar conversion would be nice.
