Mine just went into D1 yesterday as well! I ordered mine just a few days after you (7/25).
I'm praying it gets into production quickly, with the potential UAW strike coming in September.

Where is your screenshot from? that screen looks much different than the dodge site.

I'm actually tracking two orders, as we made the initial order in "Night Moves" color, but changed our mind the next day to Octane Red. Our dealer said no problem, as the 1st one could be cancelled since it was so new. But ... for whatever reason ... it didn't cancel and they now have two being built. Both of these, plus yours, all going to D1 on the same day tells me they do the scheduling in blocks.

I know mine went into D status fairly quickly after order confirmation stage. I also have a family member who works for Stellantis, and at the end of July he told me it was sequenced for build during the 2nd half of Aug. So it seems like they sequence orders into blocks (D status) and assign a window for when it will be built. Then when that window gets closer, they then schedule the individual orders in that block to a specific build date.

I'm not sure how I can find out the specific build date though. I do know the order gets updated with an estimated ship date when it enters D1, so I'll get that from my dealer. It should be good to estimate the build date to be 5 or so days prior to the estimated ship date I'd think?

The screen shot is from a Jeep order tracking website. It's all Stellantis, so I wondered if the Dodge order number would work and it does. Jeep and Dodge must use the same API for order status info...

Looking thru this thread it seems that most orders go from “scheduled” to “in production” in about 4 weeks, give or take a few days. Then it’s 3 days from “in production” to “built”. It’s possible we see end of August, but with the Holiday coming I would guess closer to 2nd week of September.

My order now shows an estimated ship date of Aug 30th. So I expect it'll enter production sometime around Aug 25th ... but we'll see.

Finally picked mine up yesterday down in Virginia, drove it back to NJ, what a fun vehicle to drive ... and a louder exhaust than I was expecting, especially when you get on it, but I love it. Had a hiccup and couldn't pick it up on Saturday as originally planned as the car had an issue when the tech was driving the car from the sub lot to dealership, the temp gauge went way high, car needed a new water pump and either a thermostat or temp sensor, which were not in stock, parts came in Monday, fixed Monday, all good for the 256 mile ride home, so hopefully just a fluke. I can't say enough about the TowNGo package, so glad I re-ordered and added that package. Would recommend Koons in Vienna, VA if you are looking to order one. I heard order banks close end of this month, Hemi Orange & Hemi Orange TowNGo are being discontinued (for 2024).

Looks great! Did you delete the Hemi Orange external stripe kit?

We ordered Octane red, and plan to add the Black + Redline stripe kit afterward. I already ordered the OEM stripe pieces to have them installed after delivery.

When the wife saw pictures of this Hellcat, she said "THAT'S what I want!" :) I'm just glad I can make it happen without spending Hellcat money, and get 7 seats instead of 6 with the TnG package ...

I like the 'Time line' layout and Last Change info on that better than the 'Dodge' tracker, nice find!
Ya, it is well done. And you can just refresh the page without having to type in the deatial ever time you want to update. It does seem to only get an update once a day though, so it can lag by 24hrs.

I used it when we ordered our 2023 Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve back in April. It was pretty accurate all through the process.

Mines still showing estimated delivery TBD, but hopefully i'm right behind you
Estimated delivery is TBD on mine as well, but estimated ship date is populated with 8/30. You can only see the estimated ship date on the order itself. The dealer can tell you what this is. It's located at the top left of the order screen.

Here's an example from the Jeep we previously purchased (I didn't ask my dealer to send me an updated view of the Durango order):

Beautiful color! It looks an awful lot like InViolet so I wonder why they didn't just stick with the popularity of InViolet instead of introducing a "Jeep" color.
