Thanks for the good information. This has been extremely helpful. I have 2020 DD GT. No factory tow of any kind. I bought Mopar hitch and 7 pin harness with new fuse box. Got it all installed on my own. I made a few errors that I corrected and got worked out. Paid a local dealer $ 140.00 to reflash the program and activate the trailering functions. The 7 pin is all good and full of power. I am now adding the Curt Spectrum brake controller. Of course, there is no brake controller plug or harness wire. I cut the plug off the Curt Spectrum controller box, made my own harness and proceeded to hook the (4) wires. Hot wire, ground wire, and the blue wire for trailer brakes all hooked up, no issues. The last item to find is the getting brake light signal which activates the controller to apply brakes. As the Durango has many small thin wires, these are used to trigger relays that actually carry the needed current to the lamp or device. I pulled out and disassembled the switch above the brake pedal. There were (3) tiny thin wires on the plug. I am wanting to get a full power wire to trigger the brake controller. So I chose not to use any of the wires at the brake pedal as these clearly are relay trigger wires. I have read nearly every thread on this board regarding tow wiring on the 2019 and 2020 DD. Now as for your note above where you picked up your the Brake Light signal on Plug C4/D, Pin 18. This too is a thin wire and can only be a relay trigger wire and not a real brake light wire. This is where I have gotten stuck. Does your Curt Spectrum get a proper (sufficient) signal to actuate the trailer brakes consistently with the trigger wire alone? I have found the diagram below from an older DD which aligns to the 2020 DD. The DG wire normally associated with a factory harness is heavy gauge. So I know there might be a better choice to hook this up more like the factory controller harness.
Here is a wiring diagram that I have found in another thread:

In the above image, look at the "Module Body Control". In the lower right corner is the Brake Lamp Switch - C4/D Pin18, WH/Purple or DG/Wh wire. This is where you tapped in for the Brake controller trigger wire and shown with the tap in your picture. (Also btw ... your 2019 white MCB box is shaped differently than the 2020 version in my D) As indicated above, I am a bit concerned about tapping this thin wire as a trigger for the Curt Spectrum Controller.
The next symbol below this is SP101. I do not know what this is?? Is this a relay??? from here, the diagram shows A in a triangle. When you link this to the A Triangle on the right side of the image, it now connects to B15 DG/WH. When I look at the B15 plug, there is no DG/Wh wire. There are only 2 heavy wires out of (4) pin positions in the "B" plug. Based on the wiring diagram and the plug with missing "heavy wires", I suspect this is the exact spot a factory brake controller harness would come into the plug.

Here is the B -Plug. See the "heavy gauge wires vs the "thin wires".

This plug is very difficult to reach. It poured rain today so I had no chance to try and test this plug and verify that it is indeed the proper position to trigger the trailer brake controller.
Can anybody else comment on my desire to find and use a proper "heavy wire" to trigger the brake controller?
(I also sent time looking through the fusebox and relays looking for a heavy wire for the Rear, High Mount Stop Lamp as an alternative trailer brake controller trigger point.
I welcome everyone's thoughts, comments and feedback.
