Curious what was bought back and the reason.
We ordered 2015 Citadel last March and from 500 miles the check engine came on related to the fuel system. Dodge had the car 9-10 times and 30+ days and couldn't repair it. Ultimately we wrote a letter and Dodge, after a few more attempts agreed the car was needing replacement.

MSRP to MSRP plus they covered all fees and any aftermarket stuff we had added.

What complicated the matter is we ordered the car and my wife really wanted the same car (Citadel V8) which was impossible in 2016. So we are trying to convert a R/T to a Citadel.

Dodge Chrome Mirror Caps, awaiting install
Door Sill Guards, awaiting install
Citadel Chrome Grille - will order once we figure out how to remove and re-install
Good Luck!! I would really like to know where you get the grille and how that goes. I talked to the parts desk when purchasing my Ltd and he said the mounting points are different on the Citadel grille (very common question he gets asked). Are you going to do chrome door handle covers? If so, please post which ones you get and how they fit...I have read some have a slight gap at the body.

Gotta love that it's 2 years out of date. There's a I269 was completed around that time. If that Nav doesn't know about it it'll forever be trying to route me a much longer way.

PS - Yes, I do know how to get home. :D I like to set it as a destination for distance/time updates when we're traveling.

Initial review in a 15 miles of driving tonight...

1) no immeadiate noticeable sound difference going from 2015 NON Beats to 2016 Beats
2) Sport Button on dash has noticeable shift pattern differences, turned it off quickly however wanting to baby the car for the first few hundred miles or so.
3) Better fuel economy realtime gauge over the 2015, which seemed to bounce around too much to follow.
4) Ability to turn off paddle shifters which i will never do but my wife (somehow) always mistakenly hits them...???? and likes the ability to disable the paddle shifter feature.
5) R/T doesn't seem to ride stiffer than Citadel.

More pictures to follow as we attempt to convert our R/T into a Citadel...
Step 1 - Replaced the Mirrors Caps today with the Chrome versions. See my For Sale Post if interested in the White Mirror Caps.

Citadel Rims are next.

Curious about the grill swap also. I've also heard the grills may not be aligned the same, but when I search mopar parts sites, a lot of them say it will fit any 2014 model. Some of them don't say what the finish is either, they just have diagram pictures. I'll stay tuned, and please let us know how it goes!

What do replacement mirror caps cost? Are they easily swappable? Being an ex-Mini Cooper S owner, I wouldn't mind throwing a set of red mirror caps on my Max Steel R/T for a little extra vroom vroom. :)
Did you take delivery?

Not hard to do at all. A little tedious maybe. Took about an hour and $100

I won't do the door handle covers but we may replace the Door handles down the road...
On that note has anyone taken the door handles off?

If anyone has the steps for replacing the door handles, I would love to see how difficult the process is...

Step 2 - Replaced Rims with 2015 Citadel Rims. Posted R/T rims for sale.

Step 3 - We ordered the Citadel Grill and Fog Light Chrome Trim.

Step 3 - Installed Chrome Grille and Fog Light Surround Trim. Really happy with it, wasn't very difficult either.

You Tube Video -
- Almost exactly the same steps, my 2016 had a one additional 10MM Screw in each of the Wheel Well Trim and a couple less 1/4 Turn Screws under the car.

1) Need to purchase and have before you start (Qty 6-10) 1/4" Plastic rivets, PepBoys carried them.
2) Need a large flat surface with a sheet or something soft to lay the Bumper face down on to work from.
3) Helps to Jack the Car up to get to the 1/4 Turns and Disconnect the Fog Lights
4) Some of this project is fiddly, however a little patience and maybe a second hand for removing the front end and re-installing it at the end. Pretty easy project.

Next Step... Roof Rack, waiting for the dealer, apparently the guy that has done this project has been out for the last week or two.
