Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the forum. I owned a 2006 Dodge Durango Hemi SLT, and loved it (Photo attached). I unfortunately had to sell it due to the gas mileage. I ended up getting a 2011 Toyota Camry SE for the simple fact that it got good gas mileage. I used to have to drive 40 miles each way to work. I regret getting rid of my Durango. I loved that vehicle. I ended up getting a divorce, and now my 2nd wife is asking me to get an SUV since she had to get rid of her SUV since she is now driving 40 miles a day and got a car. I work from home now, so gas mileage isn't a concern.
We need an SUV (3 dogs, 3 cats and 1 child), and I'm looking for a 2013 or a 2014 RT. I know the 2014 model has the 8spd auto (faster than 2011-13 models), the new 8.4 screen and new dash. My questions is if you were in my shoes would you buy a 2013 RT or a 2014 RT. 2013 RT's are more in abundance/cheaper than 2014 models. I have to have a sun roof (didn't have one in my first D and regretted it) and ventilated seats (I live in Florida, and it's hot here 9 months out of the year). Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Soxfaninfl
