So mechanic tells me there's some sensor under the truck that was disconnected, located near the on/near the exhaust system. Anyone know what he's taking about? Claims it is related to temperature. I live in UAE and they don't really know American cars here. Also don't trust him completely. lol

What is the issue if any that brings you to the mechanic? If an 02 sensor is bad/missing/disconnected, you will have a CE light, and the D likely won't run at peak performance.
You have one of the last Gen 2 Durangos made before FCA shut down the Newark, Delaware assembly plant, and moved production to Detroit, Michigan to build the Gen 3.
