Sure wish we could make it- Miss seeing all the D's, and you "Old-timers" that are still around? But once again, that soggy 3000-mile stretch between here and the Mainland is thwarting our desires. Looks like y'all are doomed to yet another gathering without a PURPLE D, unless Durangutan steps up? (Dude- Go! Trust me!)

I don't Know Rob But that sounded like John was saying he'd pick you up at AIRPORT in HIS D when you arrived

Guys and Gals:

Would really have liked to make the factory tour and put a face with all the emails.

Sadly, looks like I'm a 1.1k mile round trip away from Newark to start, and since my relatives in NJ are a scant 80 miles from there, I'd want to see them as well. All that equates to too much time off of work.

On a side note, my family and I were just in NJ the first week of July for a family wedding, and I just figured out how close to DE we were when we were there.

I know that those of you who make it'll have a great time, and make sure to document well so those who don't can ride along in spirit.

Don

Pleazzzeeeee. Last time I looked, Ohio was closer to the plant than Indiana? and I drove it solo there and back last year.

Stop your whining and sign up already.

Pres Steve;

Indy may be farther than me from DE, but he's only 2hrs from here. I may have to make a road trip over there and buy him dinner and a beer so he'll stop busting my wheels

It'd be nice to make the trip, but really I'd need to leave that Thursday to make the trip over, then hang out for the weekend. From what I have read, I can't tell when the event wraps up. Is it Sunday morning??

In theory, at some point then I'd make the 80 mile drive to see my cousins in NJ. I wonder who'll travel the farthest to attend??

Sure wish the D got the 25 mpg that my 95 SHO did.

11. Ray Johanson, not sure how many + yet (maybe none), Dinner Thurs and possibly Fri. Money sent for me, reservation made.

Don,

Usually it's dinner Thursday evening, Plant tour at 9AM Friday, Noon lunch conversation with bigwigs at the plant. After that, to make the event more of a total package, we're adding more to the meet this year.

After the plant tour, at 1:30ish we're to tour Mopar (our 1st time there), then we're planning a meet/greet/tour at a Dealer for behind the scenes stuff (After Mopar and before Dinner.)

Dinner Friday night and then the evening on the town of the college campus bar scene.

From there, Sat we're looking to do a run into the Amish country with all the Ds. Folks will leave from there or stick around Sat evening and leave Sunday depending on the drive times home.

You said I was 2 hours away, you must be West of Cincinatti or near the west border of Ohio. Either way, I'm 4+ hours roundtrip more than you are.

Read the review of last years tour for an idea on what all went down, even without the Dealer, Mopar and the Amish stuff to do.

all wheel busting aside, it's a really interesting trip for those of you who haven't seen a car assembly plant in operation. with this possibly being the last time we'll be able to see them being built here or anywhere, I'll make sure I attend. this will be my 4th year attending and there's always something new to learn.

I wish I could make a weekend out of it, but I'll probably make it there Thurs afternnoon then probably head out after dinner on Friday, so I can avoid the rush hour mess. I'm thinking its gonna be a good 3 hour drive for me, but I can't wait!
