I'll be there again. My uncle has a Dakota RT and just had a custom paint job done on it. He's interested in bringing it to Carlisle too. Could he park in our area? I couldn't remember if our Ram members were able to park with the D's last year or not.

Jim, he's welcome to park with us. As far as we're concerned, he just may short change himself with regards to the judging.

It appears that Carlisle considers a 'premier' a group that has 25 or more registered attendees. I recall that from their website. Groups with 25 or more can contact them and get a free/provided staging tent.

So want more respect for the DOC? With over 1000 registered site folks, we simply need 25 paying attendees.

I'll be there and it's a 10 1/2 hour drive for me. Will you?

Here it's:

http://www.carsatcarlisle.com/partners/car_club_relations/index.asp

"Car Club Tent Reservations
Carlisle Events offers a FREE 20' x 20' tent to each car club that registers a minimum of 25 vehicles at an event for use as your club headquarters.

New clubs that want to participate or clubs that didn't meet the 25 vehicle requirement last year will need to make a $150 pre-payment. If the club meets the 25 vehicle requirement this year, (based on Carlisle Productions' computer registration records), the prepaid tent fee of $150 will be reimbursed after the event to the club official who initiated the arrangements.

The $150 pre-payment fee is waived for clubs that met the 25 vehicle requirement last year.

Each member must register individually for the show field. Be sure that they list their club name when registering. A club organizer can collect the registration forms and mail them together, or they can be mailed by each individual member. Payment must accompany each registration in order for that individual to be considered pre-registered.

If you have any questions please contact Kristine at (717) 232-2422 or by e-mail at kristinep@carsatcarlisle.com

Click here to download the 2006 Club Tent Registration Form (PDF-33k.)

Registration deadlines are:

Carlisle All-Chrysler Nationals - June 8"

So we can get one regardless if we pay for it, however 25 members and it's free.

Indy Last year we had 25 Pre reg and we had given the $150 deposit and we got the tent unfortunately we had 25 pre reg but about 6 no showed or had an emergency come up so we didn't receive our $150 back
If all attendees would like the tent anyway we can all chip in for it.
Those attending that's.
Let me know and I'll make the arrangements to do so if that's what we all want.
Thanks

I'm thinking we gotta get the tent again. I'm willing to put in $10 again, like last year. Without the tent, we wouldn't have someplace we could all hang out? that's out of the sun. It was very hot last year. The tent was great!

I have an enclosed car trailer, It has a 10x20 awning, I also have 2 10x10 pop-ups and an 8x8 popup. If they'd let me park the trailer on the field we'd have plenty of room. Plus you could store your stuff inside my trailer and grills too if you bring them. I'd also be able to lock everything up at night. BUT that's only based if I can park the trailer were we'll be at. If they charge a trailer fee it could be a lot cheaper than the 150.
I'm only giving you an opion if you want to use a different route other than paying the 150 and needing 25 trucks

If you don't' want the trailer you can still use the pop-ups. I'd bet between all of us we could build a pop-up tent city :)

I'm for heavy D's trailer idea, but if he can't park it near us I have no problem chippin in for the tent. :D

They'll make him park the trailer away from us. It's up to all of us going we eat about $10 each and get the tent or we all bring popups and make our own set up.
Thanks Dave for the Great Offer by the way!
