Signing up for Carlisle

I just registered with Carlisle, Steve you'll have the confirmation soon in the mail. Unfortunately, I have been really busy lately around the house and I can't spend any money on the Dango anytime soon, so the truck you'll see in Carlisle is the truck you saw in Delaware. :wall: Can't wait though to see everyone out at Carlisle.

Looking forward to seeing ya as well man!!

As it stands right now, yes. With the way timing is going, the motor may not be tuned but fully assembled and running. It may turn out that the tune will need to wait until after this event, but in time for for the All Truck Nats in August. We'll see!!

If you're willing to travel a little, www.idaautomotive.com has an AWD dyno. That's where I fo to get mine dialed in.

I'm really sorry to leave you guys hanging hymin and hawin, as of this point, as I have figured would be the case, I probably won't be making it. I have got a lot going on at home, a lot of business trips and personal trips planned prior to Carlisile. (it's been a rough spring and a full summer ahead.)

OH YEAH

As most of the attendees Know we the DOC have received a Tent to use courtesy of Carlisle thanks to our 25 plus entries for the event.
I / we the BOD wanted to make sure we were well noticed and since our old banner wasn't real nice anymore we had a new one made for the NEDOC here's a pic of the banner.
Believe me the pic of the Banner does it no Justice the colors of the new vinyl graphics are awesome. Special Thanks to Ed K a member from a while back whom was the original designer and person who made the banners for all the Chapters well he did this one as well. Thanks Pete for hooking me up with Ed to get this Done.

Folks,

I have a little bit of sad news to report. I have put in two full days working on the D to get everything ready for the July Carlisle show and after hitting a few bumps in the road? it's apparen't that my D won't be ready in time.

Believe me this is a very difficult post to make but, instead of rushing things I'd rather take my time and get it perfect. My to-do list is just too long and there's a back order on some parts I recently ordered to help with my throttle linkage and intake system.

I guess I can't fight what's to be. So, I'll still be there in July with the Ram but towing the D to PA will have to wait until the August All Truck Nats.

See you all in a few weeks!!

Carlisle All Chrysler Nationals

Does the club have any DOC t shirts available? It'd be pretty cool if we all had DOC t shirts on. That way everyone would know we were there while we're walking around in case they didn't make it over to the Durango area. If it's like previous years I was there, the Durangos and Dakotas are off on the hill away from the main attractions, and a lot of people are tired from walking and don't make it over there.

 

Question

I guess Steve would probably be the only one who'd know an answer to this, but I do recall last year "Special Interest" was the category the Durango was placed in, along with Ram Chargers, and I can't recall if there was anything else. Does anyone know if we're getting our own category at Carlisle this year?
