I’ve been looking for wheels lately for my ‘03 Rango and I hate the looks of most AE wheel and just thought that maybe a 2020 or 22 rim would look 20x better. So, I have a 6 x 114.3 bolt pattern and the new rim bolt pattern is a 5 x 139.7 and my only real concern here is how effective are hub spacers/adapters really are and if it’ll make my D drive worse, idk. Still new to this but I want some honesty here

Only 20" wheel I thought look good was the replica R/T wheels in a 20" size...but I like the look of the OEM R/T wheels. But really you'd be talking a pretty small sidewall to keep the same diameter that the stock 16 or 17" wheel/tire. Then there's the added rotational weight unless you are installing forged wheels. IMO anything over 18" wheel starts looking goofy on a 1st gen D.

CHANGE THE HUB change the hub dont try this !!!!! Its a bigger diameter of bolt pattern to the size you have itll work and stay on in town but once you hit the highway youll be torquing them rims quiye often and especially if you do decide to drive dayly on them spacers are crap id change the hub itll last the 20 years your truck just lasted for
