I have a 1999 Durango SLT with the 5.9 liter engine. I came home for my lunch break from work one day last week and when I came back out the Durango wouldn't start. It ran fine on the way home and didn't give any indications. It will start if I give it gas and hold the accelerator but it runs really rough and dies when I release the pedal. The check engine light comes on sometimes when I do it but it only shows P0201 which is cylinder 1 injector fault.
So far this is what I've done...
Replaced fuel injector on cylinder 1.
Used a noid light kit to check that the injector is getting power and is pulsing.
Checked fuel pressure (49.8 psi).
Replaced crank sensor.
Replaced coil.
Replaced throttle position sensor.
I'm at a loss now as to what is causing it except maybe a bad ECM.
I'm hoping someone has an idea I haven't come up with. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Here is a video of what it's doing...
