Hi all, Rich here from Calgary Alberta. I've been thinking about getting first generation Durango in 2wd. I really like this body style over the 2nd generation. Maybe I'll try to get one in the Spring. I hope to learn from the more experienced owners.

Welcome Rich to the DOC forum. They're great vehicles to have as others will show. Why not the 4 wd? I too also prefer the 1st Gen over the new Gen 2's.

Hi there Rich and warm welcome to the DOC from Iceland. I thought a 4X4 was a must in Canada like here :]. Are there any specific year model's that you're interested in. I know a lot of people here say that the 2003 is the best one since they have disk brakes on all wheels. Then there's that question about SXT, SLT, SLT+ or R/T. And the question about engine 4,7 l, 5,2 l or the 5,9 l. Feel free to ask questions about different models of the D. I currently have an 2002 R/T which I'm madly in love with but my first D was an 2000 SLT.
