Just picked up my 2025 RT Plus, and I'm looking to buy the rear (retractable) cargo cover that works with both the 2nd and 3rd row mounting channels.

I had one previously in my 2015 6-cylinder Blacktop, and I found it very useful.

I tried to buy one today from my local dealer, but they said they do not see one for the 2025 RT Plus.

Has anyone been able to confirm if there is one available, or will the previous model number fit?

I have attached a screenshot of the 2011-2024 model for reference.

Thank you and glad to be back in a Durango!!!

Does it not come with one anymore? Dodge really cheaping out now?
No, not really. When I bought my Durango back in 2014, I asked the sales guy when it arrived, since I thought it was included. He hunted one down (probably out of another D) and installed it. When I was poking around some information later, I discovered that the 'Covered Cargo Storage' that was standard, applied to the covered area below the rear cargo floor, while the 'Cargo Compartment Cover', which is the cover we are talking about, was part of a 'Safety & Security' optional package that wasn't on my Durango.

Looks like it has always been that way, depending on how your D is configured.

Yep, RT's and I don't know what other trims don't come with engine covers anymore. At least in '24 the hemi Citadel still came with an engine cover, I know the Citadel is out for '25, but no cargo cover, no fog lights, a smaller rear view mirror among other things. I don't think any trim got fog lights in '24. As irritating as the fog light deletion is, what made the wife and I the angriest was the deletion of the remote fuel door release. That had to cost nearly nothing. The factories cost for the other things deleted, probably 2% of what they charged for it. Stellantis = Cerebus, just friggin' AWFUL. I think going forward we're going to the dark side, foreign, but they seem to be slipping as well...

As you state, ALL brands are slipping. Its more about the garbage quality of parts being produced these days. Its evident in every product these days. At the end of the day, Durango is still cheaper than comparable vehicles because of it being an old design. Yes, the price has climbed, but its still a "bargain" these days. BTW, smaller rear view mirror??? That seems odd. Maybe they switched to a universal mirror that their other models use?

My 23' R/T did not come with a cargo area cover.

Got a new OEM one on ebay for less than $100.00

Make sure you get the one that fits both third row down and up. The ends are retractable and lock in place.

My 2021 R/T came with one because it was part of the Cargo Group I have.

Thank you very much!

Nice find because I was digging around multiple Mopar sites without success.
2025 Dodge Durango R/T Plus Cover. Security cargo. Trim: [no description - 6FW03DX9AD | Mopar Parts Overstock, Lakeland FL

This shows it fits the 2025. I don't think anything changed between 2024 and 2025, so you should be good.
Well, that stinks...

I placed the order and received an email that my VIN showed in their system that the cover would not fit.

I call them, and they were unable to confirm fitment and suggested I try Amazon for an aftermarket solution.

Back to the drawing board.
