I recently just had a bunch of work done on my Durango such as rack and pinion, ball joints, tie rods, lower control arms, and fixed an exhaust leak. It has almost 115k miles on it and notice I smell sulfur at about 65-70mph along with losing gas mileage and sluggish performance. Any ideas on what it could be? I was thinking catalytic converter, was going to take it to a local shop but they are booked up and I refuse to deal with my sketchy local dealership who dose piss poor work at best. I don’t have any check engine lights or any codes either so I’m at a loss.

That's probably it. Give it a few days to stop as you may have overfilled it.

Hey, I know this post is a bit old but I'm experiencing something really similar with my SUV right now — sluggish performance, noticeable drop in gas mileage, and that sulfur smell around highway speeds. Did you ever figure out what the issue was in your case? Any advice would be super helpful!

4 hours is not old

Emmarrucker:
It would be better if you would start a thread of your own, to include the background on your vehicle. It's pretty hard to give advice when we have no idea what vehicle you are inquiring about.

Year/model/engine/ and mileage are very helpful.
