My minivan served me well but it's gone. I picked up an 03 SLT 4x4 with a 5.9 yesterday. Very, very clean. 41,000 miles on it. Patriot Blue. Factory leather, factory hitch, Mopar bug guards, Mopar rear spoiler (never seen one before.) 3.55 gears, open rear (for now.) Also has some sort of catback exhaust on it. A little quiet for my taste but okay for now. I'm very happy to be back in the land of V8 owners, even with the price of gas.

I saw the Gen 2 wiper thread. I think I'm going to jump on that.
According to the Chrysler VIP Report, that chrome bug guard is a Mopar part that got installed at the dealership. Must have been an available part back then?JoMc67 said:

NICE looking D!! That blue color was my second choice. I ended up with the Garnet Pearl (burgandy).
You have the last year of the Gen 1, and probably the best with rear disc brakes and a 7/70 powertrain warranty as long as you're the second owner, and paid the xfer fee.
Is your transfer case part time or full time??

A very clean slate you have there. 2003 is the best year for the Gen1 so a nice find. Congrats and welcome back!

I like the Garnet Pearl a lot. Had an 02 Dak that color. I do have the 7/70. I like the brakes a lot. I had a couple of Dak Quad Cabs and the rear disc rocks compared to the setup on those.Don Fox said:
