Okay here's the debate I'm having. I handed my visor and wiper cowl wed over to a local paint shop to get color coded to my truck, told ready on friday. Come friday rep tells they didn't have enough time and surely done mon. Come today, no go again wow was I fueding, the delemma is that they were the only ones who offered me a decent price ($150 for both-prep-prime-re paint) they were both previously used parts. I told them politely that if not done tomorrow I'll find another shop and then explained twice that even though I'm peod I didn't get them yet, I don't want them rushing through the job and making mistakes because they overlooked them in the first place.

I've got my fingers crossed that the will actually finish tomorrow and at least look decent. Now not only am I worried about getting the damn things painted right but how the D's going to look. I hate having second thoughts.
What do you guys think? The lund moonvisor is the lighted visor that's more blocks than smooth like Prez's D and others, and the cowl is a normal wiper cowl. I've never seen a Green D with either and now I can't help but think it's going to look awkward

EDIT**** I can't get photobucket to work, keeps going to Mobile photobucket? I'm on a dang laptop, but here's a older pic I found on the forum for refernce

Isn't that the same one you have Indy?
The Lund?

I'd say it's going to look really nice, I'm partial to color coding parts, seems to give a lot cleaner look.

I think his is the old school one he has pictured

Well the wiper cowl I couldn't get locally and every time that I found a place (Internet/local store) when they sent it was always a Dodge ram, which is 1/3 longer than dak/dur. I got it from some one you know Indy and you posted for it Karas over at Dak-Dur. 90 bucks, and I was on his way to work so he dropped it off (He didn't want extra because it was on his way but I made sure to show my gratitude, the piece was in pretty good condition minus the 3m tape. http://www.dakota-durango.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52187

And the lund Moonvisor (I can find them everwhere on the internet) but found cheap used at Dak-Dur from Scarface.
Pres, is this the older style? http://www.dakota-durango.com/forum/showthread.php?t=58495 I looked over your guys visors after I dropped mine off for paint and started to like yours better. What tossed me off guard was that I think with your guys raised hoods that it looks better, so I was hoping (since I'm lacking on my new hood) that it won't look off.

You can order just that special tape from Lund

No need to order it from Lund! It's just "standard" 3M auto body trim tape and can be picked up at any auto parts store in either ½" or 1" rolls.

BTW, here's a few shots of my own color matched "lighted" Lunar visor.

It actually attaches to the windshield with a super heavy duty Velcro, not double sided tape. I'm speaking for the wiper cowl
That way its removable for cleaning.

Wow would of been nice if I actually posted for an update XD? Well it went smooth, took longer than I expected to align everything perfect (Didn't want the cowl hitting the hood or hood springs, didn't want to have a crooked visor due to unaligned holes? I hated drilling holes in my D.) Halfway through the visor the outside light on the house cut out, seems an eletrical problem in the house, so for the time being we disconnected the breaker until we can check the attic wiring. Luckily a couple halogens saved the day. As you can tell, we had an issue with the camera as well but that's because I couldn't get mine to work, damn things are confusing. And before anyone says anything, she's really dirty and I've been soo busy to wash her. I'm lucky I even got this in due to my schedule and now, since its all new fresh paint, I want to keep away from a wash for a day or two.

I never wrote about it, but here's a nice new scratch on my hood.

Her camera doesn't pick up green lights for some reason? I had some on the grill and some reflecting under the cowl that looked fairly sweet. I don't use my foggs during regular driving, so the neons are on the same switch. The new visor is operated via the factory fog switch

lol Ted. Yeah I've been scratchin my brain on a set of hella's but really can't figure out a good way of setting it up. Only thing I can think of is doing a roof basket with them mounted on the front. Not sure a lightbar would work, think it'd look a little awkward. Wiring- that's the simple part. I'm so used to mounting satelite radios it was cake work, pretty much all windshields have a decent sized gap if not overlaping weather seal that runs all the way down to the fender, on our D's the weather seal is large enough to accomidate multiple 14/16/18 wires without interupting its function or looks (cept at very top.) Since the wiring is stock on the visor only had to hide two wires. Since our kennesaws rule out the factory foggs (unless isolated) I had an open power source with a switch already there :cheesy: I might re-wire it because on High beams the factory fogs are disabled. Overall it was simple , but you have to be ready for the R-rated part, drilling holes in the roof  once you do that you can never go back :cheesy:

I just added an additional 2 off road lights to my Front Kennesaw Bumper. I don't have any pics yet but will get some tonight.
I simply used some small brackets and mounted them right to the bumper. I think they look Good but some may not agree.
